Really dude? Best player on the team? More like most most hyped player on the team.
Your comment reminds me of Jay-Z's line off his renegade track "Do you fools listen to music watch the games or do you just skim through it?"
PS: I'm not implying you're a fool, just quoting Hov.
I'm inclined to agree with Byke on this one. Lonzo was their best player yesterday. Before that, I wouldn't place him in the top 3

Bucks woulda still won that game considering they played woeful till halftime and still maintained the lead. Keeping that in mind, Lakers truly lost the game when Lonzo went to the bench late 3rd quarter. Transition from defense got lost and Lakers succumbed to TOs. Even the paint became open for Brogdon and Giannis to attack. 2 point lead then went to a 10 point lead.

If you had watched the match, you'd be less biased.

He had his best game yesterday in a Lakers shirt. Simmons had his worst. It still doesn't mean Simmons ain't the best rookie right now

And nobody is comparing Rondo to him in that way. Calm down, on your a.c.

BTW, Eruditor and Smooshchn, this una Warriors and their 3rd quarter something. You guys are making me lose money ooo...

In M. Plumlee (when he comes off the bench) and N. Jokic, the Nuggets have their own twin tower. Jokic is so talented, he can bring the ball up the court, he is a very strong rebounder on both ends, a good jump shooter from outside the arc and more importantly, a very good passer. He handles the ball so much and so well that it opens the court for the guards. The Manimal is no longer the best player on this roster and this is best for the Nuggets especially since the inclusion of P. Milsap. The Nuggets are quite underrated for how good they play and their guard play which is rotated between J. Murray and E. Mudiay from the point looks good and coordinated. While their 3rd position in the western conference may be short lived I think it buttresses how this team has gelled.
If Nuggets were in the East...

Lmao, i was shocked. Yesterday was the first time i was actually seeing his shooting form, and i mean 100 percent. I actually had to rewind it so many times to make sure what i am seeing is the truth.

I don't even think the kid does any thing better than rondo. I was thinking maybe he is a better free throw shooter, but he is shooting 50% from the FT line? I am comparing him to rondo by the way because that is just the player he is most likely going to end up like.

He is not as athletic as john wall or westbrook where i would say he can get away with bad shooting by driving to the rim and all. Anyways sha, if we talk, them go say we be haters.
I think it's pretty early to judge since he's a rookie with time on his hands but at least make we hear word small. On this thread especially. The hype is way too high you'd think he's a Steph Curry on steroids.

I gave Nuggets all my respect early last season. I learnt to respect them the hard way after losing my money tagging them to lose. I had to watch them closely. They had Nurkic, Faried and Jokic the center was stacked, they had Jameer Nelson too as PG with Harris and Murray with Mudiay and Will Barton. They were too stacked they had to move Nurkic and tried moving other guys.

And this is what we're saying. The West is so competitive good teams don't even get recognized, players like Jokic, Lillard are overlooked. If they were in the East, 2nd or 3rd seed for sure.

Lmao!! That's a noob move. You should play it by quarter. Over or Under.
1st quarter is usually tricky
The second quarter is usually <28-33
but the 3rd quarter is usually around >34-40.. Use is to your advantage.
Don't even try 4th quarter cos the starters might not even play and point differentials would fûck you up. They can be up by 30 before the starters sit and the game would end up with difference of 15.

People are actually comparing a young Jason Kidd to Ramon Rodin Rajon Rondo. cheesy

As if Rajon wouldn't kill his family in cold blood right now to get half of Lonzo's Basketball IQ. grin

My brother, apart from 3rd quarter, every other quarter is way too unpredictable. 3rd quarter sef just sure for now but hin don do me something. Na why I leave quarter stuff for Warriors. Na only Rockets, Nuggets, Jazz, Heat, Celtics and Bucks that are fairly constant for quarter.

My own na player's minutes and points I dey stake for Warriors cos they have the players and numbers. You'll play something and Warriors will do blowouts and rest players. But before, Curry/KD dey play 4th quarter. Now, ehn...

Sometimes, over and under for the game/halftime points. All of them na pant now for Warriors.

I no do again for them...

I am really proud of this team, from Danny Ainge to Brad Stevens to the players. Against the Hornets, after Kyrie went down, S. Larkin stepped up. Tonight, Big AL reminded the NBA why we paid the max to get him. He is playing at an unbelievable level right now.

I'm speechless right now. Brad is doing great. I imagine what it would've been like if Hayward was healthy..

Dont be so sure - exciting basketball is not necessarily better basketball.

The East has a lot of players that can play the western conference tempo and get buckets - see p george and melo in uptempo OKC for example. East is just more of grind basketball - in fact all the teams that won rings from ECFin recent memory have all loved to grind . From pat rileys's heat (both wade/shaq and wade/lebron), cavs, detroit pistons, even that crazy celtics team with the big 3 played ugly outside a few heroics.

On the other hand, also note that the perennial ugly ball team in the west, AKA spurs has consistently been on top with 50+wins and 5 rings - they have survived the high powered lakers, the really good Kings who look the most like today's warriors, the high voltage suns (nash, amare, j johnson), the mavs who took 3s like its garri water, etc. And yet, there are the spurs. The WCF is not any more talented than the ECF. If anything, the ECF plays better, if less flashy bball.

Btw I think cavs need to get back to that kind of ugly ball - trying to play uptempo with the 10 shooters on the court is a recipe for disaster. I know LBJ is no longer at the physical top of his game, but this team should be able to lock down opponent for 4 or 5 possessions in a row

What a gameeeeeeee!!!!

Wade, Korver and LeBron won this game. The 3s just kept on coming from that awful Knicks defense

LeBron with good defense on KP in the 4th. Offensive rebounds also helped especially after Bron bricked those FTs

There was a wrong call against Knicks though. That ball went off Frye. Regardless, Cavs bench had the momentum to steal the game.

There is hope for the Cavs after all. Lue just has to figure the starters and their rotations. Love and Crowder are shytesss
