As the topic suggests, we know a lot of people out there do lots of crazy things when they are impecunious, little wonder it is said that the love of money is the root of all evil; but what if I reversed it and say "the lack of money is the true root of all evil"?

Fact is that at some point, because of circumstances beyond control, people do go broke, so we cannot all deny being broke sometimes.

One of mine is that whenever I am broke, I don't attend wedding invitations, I keep giving excuses or dodging when the day comes because I don't like looking like a spectator at the occasion.

Be truthful, on your part what do you consider the craziest thing you have done because of brokeness?

One sunny afternoon. I was unable to feed properly.
Owing MTN on Two Sims. My third Glo sim I was owing them like 400.

The day before I tagged like few trees with succulent fruits. Even if they had red clothes on them. I felt the villagers wanted to beautify the trees.

So I wandered off around 4 a. m to the objectives. Appropriately Armed with one bagco bag, and my debilitating Hunger.

Na so as I touch the first tree, all the owls for the village start to hoot. The same time.

I had to teach the gods that, even as a mere mortal. There was still LOVE in sharing.
Plucked just one. Then ran full speed back home.

I once had N900 as my account balance and I was broke as fawk so i had to take a loan of N1200 from a friend to be paid the same day, went to the bank paid it in through the counter and den withdrew N2k through the ATM and I returned the N1200 and then I was left with my N800

back in school, there was a certain day I had to trek a distance of abt 5km from town to the remote area where my school is located,because I was broke. I only had #80 tfare that can either take me to town or bring me back depending on the option I chose.

I concluded, it was better to enjoy first n suffer later in this case.

I took a bike to town, and then trekked my shoes out wen I was coming back.

to say I was exhausted was an understatement.I was tired n totally spent

Hmmm...it waz my days at unizik prescience program,there was this hot sunday aftanoon,i didn't eat the past saturday night and had to go to church on xunday morning with empty stomach bcuz i didn't have kerosine to cook even with d availability of foodstuffs and i was hell broke with my last #100 that i kept to take me to the bank incase i receive alert.
the hunger hit me that day dat i had to call home for immediate remedy and i just ran to the bank asap to wait for d money even without receiving alert,i waited 4 more than 2 hours at the bank b4 d alert came.
