Well, you're gonna have to check again. Also, you have to check the other parts of your forms. For instance, you can't say you are unemployed Between May to July in personal history whereas other parts of the form e.g education or work history says you were in school/working until the end of May. Just go over all parts of the form (not just personal activities) and ensure there are no discrepancies.

Guys, How true is the claim that immigrants struggle to find work in Canada despite their qualifications? Apparently, due to the lack of Canadian Experience, immigrants settle for survival jobs.
I'd like to know so I'd weigh my options between Aussie and Canada.

Guess what, her application was approved.

It depends on a lot of things

Your flexibility :how ready you are to embrace change in career. Nigeria being a developing economy, has some jobs /career that fits its thriving nature while those kinds of job will be a mismatch for a Canadian economy vis a vis the labour market.

Solution :before you travel, research on your career and see if you need to change path and if possible, inquire and certification that you can start even while in Nigeria. An example of this is business Analyst roles. If you have this certification, you get a job on time as compared to being a civil engineer

Bridging programs:even if your career is on high demand in canada, you might still need to take some courses, diploma, etc(like a back to school approach) so that you can gather the Canadian school knowledge and if possible volunteer to gain on the job experience no matter how little.

[color=#990000[b]]CV layout[/b] [/color]:you do be surprised that the way we nigerians jam pack our cv with multiple experience is a far cry to what is deemed professional in the Canadian labour market. If you learn the ropes on writing a cv the Canadian way, who knows how fast your offer letter can come.

Entitlements : the total package for child benefit is set to be increase by 200 cad and 500 cad in 2018 and 2019 respectively. (money is important)

Family ties: Australia is at the far end of the world and one needs to consider how closely knitted the nigerian society in Australia are. When you consider the way this thread increases, a time is coming when you will see a large population of nigerians in canada.
