America has taken a lot of our abled men and women. Now this child will claim full blooded American even though the mum is a confirmed home brought up.

The government doesn't care even though all the youths migrate outside.

Now come to think what they are really doing over there the answer is simple, majority of them can best be described as glorified slaves.

The kind of job they will never do in Nigeria, you will see them rushing to go and do all kinds of menial hard labour all because of the dollar.
The same dollar they can't save up to one million at the end of one year because bills keep on pilling.

Everybody is a nurse some are registered, some are licensed while others are certified.

Should we have leaders in this country yet our people are rushing out in droves to go and be glorified slaves. I don't think it speaks well of our image.

Gone are the days when you see a Nigerian abroad, you automatically know he or she is a Nigerian because we stand out in the kinds of job we do and in our dressing. We walk with dignity because we have all it takes, we got the money and we are big.

That was then, but now our people are now rubbing shoulders with all these poor nations, they can now stand where Nigerians are, too bad indeed. We need to take back our country from deadwoods.

Glorified slaves indeed, I guess I am one of them, I work hard, but I get paid every other 2 weeks at friday midnight, my money is always there, correct to the last cent... I don't get owed salaries by Aregnesola or Okoroawusa Rochas or Short Hell- Rufai.

So, I can plan well and make the most on my $$$. I also don't need to make a huge financial deposit to get treated with or without health insurance in case I fall sick, there is 24/7 electricity, I don't need to know someone who knows someone before I can get a job, I get my job based on my education, skills and experience and moreso, if I am out of work, (I hav never been and i dont pray so) the government is responsible enough to give me food vouchers or food stamp to feed myself and some unemployment money to keep body and soul together while looking for another job. If these few benefits mean nothing to you, then staying back home is justified ... who Nigeria epp?

Why gives up. You don’t have To..
One day a young lady was driving along with her father. They came upon a storm, and the young lady asked her father, What should I do?”
He said “keep driving”. Cars began to pull over to the side, the storm was
Getting worse.
“What should I do.” The young lady asked?
“Keep driving,” her father replied.
On up a few feet, she noticed that eighteen wheelers were also pulling over. She told her dad, “I must pull over, I can barely see ahead. It is Terrible, and everyone is pulling over!”
Her father told her, “Don’t give up, just keep driving!”
Now the storm was terrible, but she never stopped driving, and soon she Could see a little more clearly. After a couple of miles she was again on Dry land, and the sun came out.
Her father said, “Now you can pull over and get out.”
She said “But why now?”
He said “When you get out, look back at all the people that gave up and are Still in the storm, because you never gave up your storm is now over.
This is a testimony for anyone who is going through “hard times”.
Just because everyone else, even the strongest, gives up. You don’t have To…if you keep going, soon your storm will be over and the sun will shine Upon your face again.
This story touched me, I hope it touched you, too !

You have a good point.

Ikedc(Phcn/Nepa) is dead. Unemployment is high. Good healthcare is expensive and the economy is in shambles.(Just to mention a few)

Well said, when I say majority are glorified slaves mean it with every emphasis. You know it that the type of job you do to make your fourth nightly pay the average whiteman or 'akata' won't do it for the bimonthly wage they pay you. Yes, salaries are paid monthly to employees while wages are paid daily, weekly or bimonthly to labourers.

I am not here to argue with you or to compare Nigeria situation with America, we know our problems here that's why I said we the youths need to wrestle back our country from deadwoods.

If you say you rather stay as a glorified slave abroad fine but know it that the white man isn't stupid to watch you come and take over their country. After they have finished using the best part of you they will send your battered body back to us and that's why there is need for us to guard against dumping of unusable goods.

My advice to you and others is to invest back home now because 'agaracha' must come back. This is the only place you can do anyhow as you like. Try that over there, ordinary owe your bill for one month you will know how far. So the idea is that you must keep working like a jackass or else you find yourself inside the harsh cold weather. No brother, sister, daddy or mummy to come to your rescue. Nonsense lifestyle. #NaijaisOK4me
