Eruditor:Dude! You were wrong. There's no way celtics commentators will complain about calls going their way. Multiple commentary teams cover a game regardless whether it is nationally televised or not. Accept it gloriously and move on! Jeez! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 11:14am On Nov 23, 2017 |
aliondo:I respect what you are trying to do but this does not make sense for one reason; The game that Draymond was not suspended for, we still lost. Also, notice I never said GSW were poorly ref'd in that game as well. Took the back to back Ls on your ground and prayed my team would recover which we did. So I don't complain about all GSW losses. I complained when we lost to Cavs by 1 because on the last play Richard Jefferson or whatever his face is fouled KD clearly and the refs did not call it. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 11:18am On Nov 23, 2017 |
UlrikVandram: This is what happens when you bleed hate. Watch the game then speak. It's the Celtics commentators out here but lemme keep quiet before you remind us how Iggy is the dirtiest player in the league.SmooshCHN watched his own game in China or so. I am in Nigeria (at this point) and I watched same. Argue with your mirror. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 11:22am On Nov 23, 2017 |
Eruditor:oh it doesnt make sense now...Whether we won or lost,he should have been suspended..Its still a bad ref call... Because of you,i will start looking out for bad ref calls.. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 11:26am On Nov 23, 2017 |
Eruditor:LOL! So? Why should that matter when he's a bum like you. Only you admitted he's dumber. And I'm yet to see where I called iguodala the dirtiest player in the league. Another instance him being insincere so his credibility is tarnished in my eyes. He's probably a victim of the same fallacy that only home commentators cover games or you got that from him. They maybe TNT commentators or GSW commentators but no way in he'll they are celtics commentators. Fact! There's no argument here. I'm teaching a class. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 11:29am On Nov 23, 2017 |
Eruditor:Ooh yeah you guys definitely got screwed on that. LeBron hanging on to the rim after dunking was a T. Jefferson tripped KD. But that's how it goes, sometimes it favours you and other times it doesnt. But you lot need to stop it with the victim mentality every time you lose. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 11:29am On Nov 23, 2017 |
aliondo:Your argument would have made sense if his presence gave us an advantage. It did not and it was one of those toss ups. Iggy or Ezeli blocked KD in that game which was called for goal tending but replays showed it was not. Imagine me trying to claim that that play alone made GSW lose. So understand the whole narrative. OKC should have won yesterday. They were clearly better. Lakers and Denver whooped GSW as well last season with all players fit. I can take Ls to sub 500 teams. But when over the whole season of 18 games thus far, many games are marred by flagrantly bad calls some of which helped the opposing- beneficiaries win, I would complain. OKC does not fall under that category for now because they would have won otherwise. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 11:31am On Nov 23, 2017 |
UlrikVandram:It is not every time. I am gracious in deserved Ls and barely even blame the teams. My grouse is directed at the NBA. Ofcourse I know bad calls go either ways. I have never complained about game 7 of 2016 NBA finals. But I complained about games 5 & 6. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 11:35am On Nov 23, 2017 |
UlrikVandram:You are right. I am wrong. The commentary was done by GSW commentators. You are a master who is always right. You are not a bum or a bumbling oaf who more than ever justifies his genius IQ. And in case you are wondering - I am definitely being sarcastic. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 11:48am On Nov 23, 2017 |
Eruditor:Now..thats what i want to hear.. Case closed. #THUNDERUP |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:40pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
Eruditor:You said it. Not me.
|
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:41pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
Eruditor:You did blow a 20+ lead in that game so... You know... Cavs could have complained about game 1 and 2 of the last finals or claimed conspiracy, we didnt. We're not sore losers. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 1:19pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
UlrikVandram:I don't know about 20 points. And what conspiracy about games 1 & 2? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 1:23pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
Eruditor:14 points. The foul calls and the no calls. How many FTs did curry shoot in game 2? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 2:31pm On Nov 23, 2017*. Modified: 3:26pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
UlrikVandram:Lol. Curry had 15 and 18 points in games 1 and 2. I think he did not even play the fourth quarter. Draymond was the player of the day with 28. Curry even had foul trouble in game 2. FTs? Why do you think people say he is the most disrespected superstar? He barely gets FTs. That is the only thing I usually say in his and Bron's defence. They get fouled a lot but barely get FTs for it. Compared to Harden and Brodie. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 2:35pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
Eruditor:Nope. He had 28 in game 1 and 32 in game 2. I'm talking about the 2017 finals here. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:25pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
UlrikVandram:I was referring to 2016. In 2017? What FTs? Curry was shooting lights out in game 2. He had 4 3s and was driving to the rim a lot. Even at that, he had early FTs I think 4 or so but the GSW only led by 3 by half time. It was the 3rd quarter rout that put them out of sight. No conspiracies. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 7:29pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
Steven A Smith here speaks about the officiating, other fans confirm it. Most mad person about KD leaving OKC but y'all won't just accept it.. OKC whoop our ass but to say the refs didn't interfere is clearly hatred induced.. Aliondo you tried to speak smart. You tried. I can recall days ago when you had that losing streak on active and you went mad on here about the refs which was right. If an officiating is bad, it is bad whether it changes the outcome of the game or not. Refs should be held accountable. Watch the video if you're humble enough to.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuKfH_xPhlk&ab_channel=ESPN |

birdman:SO THE BATTLE WEARY WINNER CAN FACE A VERY WELL RESTED CAVS?? HELL TO THE FCK NO. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 8:06pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
SmooshCHN:Bro..i have never called out refs on this forum..i don't talk about refs..i care less. I always talk about 4th quarters and our inability to close.. Are you trying to say the refs helped us win against you guys? Lest i forget..whenever OKC loses a match..You're one of the first people to come and make jest of them... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 8:10pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
Decale:Lol..you sef..i think he meant OKC and Warriors.. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 10:02pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
aliondo:What is your fascination with this question? OKC will not be the last team to beat GSW this season. How you choose to interpret the win by your team is your prerogative but you need to accept that the game was poorly ref'd. Draymond cleanly swiped the ball off Carmelo's hands. There were some funny +1s Russell was getting that were just unnecessary. All these things add up to bad refereeing if only one team (the home team) seems to be benefitting from it. Does not take anything away from the way your team played. Cavs shot lights out in game 5 of the 2017 finals, I came here to say it, but I still did not deter from pointing out that the game was crazily officiated. The facts are the facts my man. Stephen A Smith was right on this one. |

SmooshCHN:I tire. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 10:05pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
Eruditor:Ok...yes...you won..the refs helped us win. Also remember, when refs calls go in your favour...Come here and talk about it.. Can i now enjoy my W in peace? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 10:10pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
aliondo:If that is your understanding of my post, sorry I can't help you. Cheers. |

aliondo:These Warriors fans though. They sha won't take their L in peace . My word, that was one hell of a show from the boys. Everyone came to the party. No blown leads. If only we could play like this every night. Russ was clearly fired up for this one. I felt a bit sorry for KD though, even with everything the dude still has a place in my heart. The fans have every right to boo though, and it's going to take time before that wound heals. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 11:11pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
aliondo:No you did not. You were only asking stu.pid questions which I was attempting to elucidate. Imagine teaching a fish to run. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 1:49am On Nov 24, 2017 |
aliondo:You should go back to primary school if you have comprehension issues because I clearly stated OKC would've still won regardless or just stay mute if you think officiating has no influence in any sports let alone basketball Mr 4th quarter. Even after the video posted pointed it out where someone like Stephen A Smith had to air it out on national TV (Guess biggest KD hater was a Warriors personnel), even when others on here who clearly aren't warriors fans confirmed officiating issue but your massive ego wouldn't it. Great confidence booster for OKC however, the refs had nothing to lose making the right calls whether you won by 20 or blew the 4th quarter you're scared of. |
