My phone started taking long to charge,i charge from 8am to 5pm daily all i get is 70% from 10% low.i tried virtually all other original cables still d same.

M5 charges longer with power bank. About 6 hours plus. Charges about 3 hours with Gionee M5 fast charger and about 4 to 5 hours with normal charger.

So apparently your phone gat problems.

try using another charger

The same with mine, just off your whenever you want to charge, it'll charge faster.

tried it no difference i looked for the charger didnt get it i av ordered for d type cord on jumia

it charges in 2hrs b4 dis problem started on sunday

Same charger? If it's the same charger, then it has been turned from a fast charger to a normal charger, hence that length of time to charge.

are u using the gionee charger or another type of charger..if it another type of charger..I will advise you try gionee charger,gionee charger like that of m5 or m6

I have two fast chargers that have done exactly what I stated there.

It might be usb cable cos gionee m5 is stubborn get original infinix hot note cable to confirm

trust me, your charging port is the problem. change it with 1.5k and you'd thank me.

Yes, same phone. I got an infinix fast charger, and it came back to norm.

will get a follow charger and try it if it doesnt work then i know its the charging port

Finally resolved the issue,had to change d charging ic,even the cord i tot was the cause is still ok
