Pardon my English, I. have this issue with my small car and it goes like this when I on it in the morning it will jerking ,when I engaged the gear the jerking increases, when I on my AC is the worst jerking...

Took it to the first mechanic he was talking about cranking the valve
The second one is talking about engine sitting.

what I notice when the car is hot is that the jerking wont b that serious but is still d

please what do you ppl think is the culprit

Most gurus here will suggest you scan the car first. Also check some of the 'pipes' or vacuum lines on the hood. I'm also a newbie like you.

depends on your location but basically what was done to solve the issue

I had the same issue with my car early this year.... The problem was just one of my plugs. I just changed all 4 plugs and the jerking stopped entirely. First check ur plugs and coil before u start spending unnecessary oney

so many mechanic might want to rip u off, beware

I did that before changing to new coils and also changing plugs the problem will go for sometimes then come back

No Ecu or any issue for now but for possibly corrections or clarity cos some sensors (I guess) wires have been cut off by former kazeem.

That model of Rav 4 is proned to manufacturer ecu flaw affecting transmission shifting
