Eruditor:Why cant you make your points without trading insults? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 2:13am On Nov 24, 2017 |
SmooshCHN:na wa oh...all these insults for OKC win? why cant we refer to the way the teams played? i told eruditor that refs calls could either go in your favour or against you..so why make it a very big issue?i never said officiating does not influence games..maybe you should go back to the very first statement eruditor made. Since i didnt go to school, pls what does his statement mean? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 2:20am On Nov 24, 2017 |
pkasso:Bro,i dont just understand..in all our arguements i never brought up K.D sef. K.D was my best player in OKC and NBA then.i had just bought his jersey and the next week he went to GSW..would i now say because K.D went to GSW,i should now follow him to GSW? I didnt believe in the win myself..was expecting us to call out players who performed and who did not?instead we are referring to refs calls...if we begin to talk about refs calls, everybody here will make case for his or her team.. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 3:46am On Nov 24, 2017 |
aliondo:This isn't an insult however, If you were a lady, I'd understand why you're quick to call a question an insult or ignoring statements that acknowledged OKC deserving the win and coming up with "So the refs gave us a win?" conclusion. After a solid video and other witnesses, you still failed to agree that the refs made some horrible calls. I understand you claim to care less about the refs so why even argue since you usually don't pay attention? If insult you, No vex abeg. ![]() |

SmooshCHN:I just told myself not to bother again. Even after showing that my argument was stemming from other games leading to the OKC one. Even aftet stating copiously that OKC would have won regardless (which is why they did not need the help the refs were clearly giving). Someone will strain all the important stuff and settle for asinine questions. 1 win in the last 8 games. Beat them 3 times with KD being there and 4 times last season. Someone should give me a break abeg. Why should losing to a sub 500 team pain me? How many times will Warriors force a turnover off OKC and refs will blow foul. Stopping the game, giving OKC back the ball and stifling us - when everyone knows we thrive on making stops in a come back. How many times will they call blocking foul on us and then at the other end call the same move an offensive foul against us. People say OKC played great defense and I said yea. But why did the refs not allow us play our own great defence? I tell you why they did that, and also why that other guy keeps asking those dumb questions. They did not want what happened against Sixers to repeat itself (not even remotely saying we would have come back) but the refs were making sure that never happened. They should enjoy their W. We would play them more than once over the regular season. Let us see how many times we would turn the ball over 22 times. |

I'm thankful for Lebron James still doing lebron things and more in year 15. I'm thankful for Lebrons newly discovered clutch gene. I'm thankful for crowder love and wade. I'm thankful for the Cavs having the Longest running streak in the NBA. I'm thankful for the Cavs finally playing Defense. I'm thankful for Lebrons scary shooting improvement. I'm thankful for ITs imminent return. I'm thankful for TT being injured. I'm thankful for the cavs second unit. I'm thankful for the Celtics streak coming to an end. I'm thankful for the warriors getting spanked like petulant babies by OKC and Brodie. WINNING!!!! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:43pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
aliondo:A loss is a loss tbh The key is the offense still isn't clicking. You guys start well but always let teams back into the game and that's because your offense isn't dominant. Everybody is playing purely on talent alone for now |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 4:22pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
A40:I think our offense is not clutch at the moment. If you take a look at every team, they've got one or two clutch players. Kyrie used to be the clutch player in CAVS and is now the clutch player in Celtics. We can now see Lebron getting into that clutch mode in the absence of Kyrie. Westbrook won clutch player of the season last year but we all know westbrook aint clutch enough. P.G is the most suitable clutch player in OKC. Though he didnt start the season well,he's currently playing like the P.G we know him to be. In the last quarter,if Russ can handle the pressure and take less shots and distribute the ball more,we would be fine cos i noticed whenever he does that,we win instead of taking unlikely shots out of pressure. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:20pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
aliondo:P.G? you say P.G? The same P.G? Danny Granger is probably "clutcher" than him abeg |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 5:22pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
Donlittle:In OKC,at least thats the best we have for now.. Melo used to be clutch but he's not that consistent. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:50pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
aliondo:Melo is your most clutch player. However there needs to be a deliberate system deployed by your coach where everybody is playing within the offense, that's why every win seems to be a mighty struggle with y'all while the Rockets can lose Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson yet still beat an over 500 team like Denver by almost 50 pts |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 5:55pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
A40:Everyone knows Melo is supposed to be..Donlittle just confirmed it too but he's not been consistent this season (i.e talking about just 4th quarters alone).. P.G has shown up more.. If i get you,are you saying the coach should deploy or try out more players rather than the usual suspects? |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 9:53pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
D. Rose has been excused from the Cavs since Monday as he seriously considers his future in the NBA. I feel bad for the man, his body would not let him play. I hope his brother and his family can shut up now. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:40pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
Roland17:his brother? lol did i miss something? wetin happen? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 10:52pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
Nurkic just straight up bullied the Nets from offense to defense. Or maybe na because say na Nets This man dey waste hin career for the West. Make them trade am for Gortat or Drummond. Abeg... |

SIRcumalot:You welcome bro.. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:46am On Nov 25, 2017 |
Roland17:I guess he had high expectations for this season. Expected it to be his redemption but same thing keeps holding him back. I'm sure he'll return but it's sad nonetheless. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 12:51am On Nov 25, 2017 |
UlrikVandram:what a talent... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:55am On Nov 25, 2017 |
aliondo:Was talented enough to be an all time great. But at some point talents becomes wasted potential and it seems that's the case for him. I really hope he comes back and tries to give this at least another go. His story is so far one of the saddest in the NBA but that doesn't mean it can't change for him especially if the Cavs can somehow miraculously stage an upset to get the chip which they're very capable of, especially if he stays. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:56am On Nov 25, 2017 |
Roland17:It's really unfortunate and must be very draining. He clearly can still contribute but his body isn't even willing to give him a shot |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:12am On Nov 25, 2017 |
The Magic have a decent team on paper so I'm quite puzzled at how bad they are looking rn. Kyrie Irving is really on some other shyte! What a player |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:27am On Nov 25, 2017 |
aliondo:Just more ball movement and less iso. Westbrook cannot use the lack of help card anymore but his help also have his scoring mentality so its complex. It's about knowing when to defer and when to take over games. They are not scoring enough points to be an elite team in the West atm Guys like Patterson and Abrines have not consistently stepped up either. Only guy that has improved from last season is Steven Adams |

Typical OKC! Everything just grinds to a halt in the 4th. Though they laid the foundation in the 3rd quarter Use all the ishan to beat Golden State. Se o tan yin? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:22am On Nov 25, 2017 |
A40:By far the best game of the season for the Celtics thus far and as for Uncle Drew, he is leading the MVP conversation, in my books, I should add. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 4:26am On Nov 25, 2017 |
The way Brodie carry 3 pointer for head like say hin sabi shoot am. You miss first, second, airball the 3rd; yet you still had the decency to shoot the last one with 5 seconds to go. Why you no just drive? Melo na to dey travel up and down and miss layups that Tristan Thompson can even make Sell this team... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:27am On Nov 25, 2017 |
A40:A good coach would not take this long before figuring out how to close out the 4th quarter with OKC. B. Donovan has to make tough decisions to stop this 4th quarter nonsense, it has to be deflating and embarrassing for OKC fans. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 4:29am On Nov 25, 2017 |
This Kerr is not playing everybody because say na we we ![]() Abeg Markannen, knack one 40 point game for Zaza head. Warriors losing today Time to watch my franchise baybeeeeeeeehhhhhhhh ![]() |

Roland17:MVP would be stretching it IMO. He's been on fire since he got that mask though. There was a particular point in the game Evan Fournier tried to guard him. Comical |

. My word, that was one hell of a show from the boys. Everyone came to the party. No blown leads. If only we could play like this every night. Russ was clearly fired up for this one. I felt a bit sorry for KD though, even with everything the dude still has a place in my heart. The fans have every right to boo though, and it's going to take time before that wound heals.
