MaziOmenuko:
Shouldn't you be concerned La Liga is yet to adapt the international best practice of Goal Line Technology?

with that technology, you may have had all 3 pts yesterday.
wow thanks for ur concern, despite the draw my club is still topping the table unlike ur useless club. Meanwhile when are u dropping ur next erotica?

My concern is not about your club but about your league. Theres hope for a useless club in a good league; theres no hope for a good club in a useless league

Nah, he'd be a huge miss for those game. Zlatan can still barely run.

No I disagree its the mentality o the coaches. Guardiola looks to win by outscoring the opponent, Mourinho looks to win by conceding less or not conceding at all

Mourinho inherited a better team that Guardiola

Mourinho inherited a younger team while Guardiola inherited a much older team tht he has had to change a lot
I disagree.

Rashford, Martial, Lingard, Schneiderlin, Rooney, Schweinsteiger, Smalling, Blind, Carrick, Valencia, Darmian, Herrera

Vs

Aguero, Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling, Fernadinho, Fernando, Kompany, Otamendi, Toure, Zabeleta,

Just check and tell me which team had more quality players. Our best players had no UCL, world cup and Euro experience compared to Aguero, Silva, Sterling, etc

Without Lukaku, we will be a mid table team. His presence in that front line is very important.

If thats the angle you choose to approach it then Schweinsteiger Carrick Mata and Rooney have CL winners medal Only Yaya has in that Cty lineup.

Schweinsteiger world cup winner, Mata world cup winner, Rojo world cup finalist, Blind world cup 3rd place,
Mata

Why its wrong is that football depends a lot on fitness and age comes with it, whats the point of your CL and world cup experience if you are too old to move around and run.?

If I bring players who won the CL and world cup 8yrs ago as evidence of experience players like Dvid Villa, Pirlo, or Puyol
The team you listed for City would have been a solid squad if this was 6yrs ago, Not at a time when they were one of the oldest teams in the entire league

Guardiola inherited the 2nd oldest team in the entire league and Mourinho inherited the 4th youngest team in the league

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool/11962954/Liverpool-and-Tottenham-are-the-youngest-teams-in-the-Premier-League.html

At the other end of the spectrum, early leaders and title favourites Manchester City have the second-oldest team after West Brom, with an average age of 28.5.
City added youth in Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne this summer, while Kelechi Iheanacho has been afforded increased game time, but the core of their squad is older than their rivals, with the likes of David Silva, Yaya Toure, Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta and Aleksandar Kolarov all 29 or above.
Sterling and De Bruyne are their only regulars below the age of 27 and although for the time being City patently possess a winning formula; they will need further investment in youth in the coming years

Cross-town rivals Manchester United have one of the Premier League’s younger squads and Louis van Gaal seems to be constructing a team for the future. Wayne Rooney, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Michael Carrick drag their average age up
That was 2yrs ago.

I agree with this, Mourinhos tactics isnt getting the best out of Lukaku. Most strikers needs many multiple chances to score, you cannot be giving Luaku 2-3 half chances a game and expect him to be scoring regularly

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 9:41am On Nov 28, 2017
"It was difficult for Pobga and [Nemanja] Matic to press. Marcus [Rashford] and [Anthony] Martial, [are] without the tactical knowledge that another player has to close the spaces in between the full-back and winger so, even with Paul, we were a little bit in trouble."

- JOSE MOURINHO
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 9:42am On Nov 28, 2017
"Against Watford [last season], I was very upset with their first goal after someone put Martial in the hospital and the referee let it go. That is the reason why I was very upset.

"I think Watford have made progress. I think they have a squad full of very good players, that are not normal to be a mid-table team. They have a good coach and they improved a lot from last season."

Those with world cup experience in United had past their best football years when Mourinho arrived.

Look at the list of players for both clubs again

You don't get it. Those with world cup and UCL experience in United were not our best players when Mourinho arrived. Rooney, Schweinsteiger, Carrick, were ready to retire. Rojo was developed by Mourinho to be the player he is today. Rashford, Martial and Lingard had no experience, and were our best.

Compare to Aguero, De Bruyne, Sterling, Fenadinho Silva who were City best players when Guardiola arrived, you can see a huge difference in quality.

Mourinho inherited a far weaker and an unstable team.
