Boogie got traded for little to nothing because he was at loggerheads with everyone and couldn't lead a team for filth. Couldn't make the playoffs, was constantly fighting the team, and coaches. Kings decided to rebuild from scratch, and so traded him. How many of this problems does memphis has?

It's easier to rebuild when you only have one big player, for Memphis to attempt a rebuild, they will be moving chandler, conley, and gasol. It was easier for kings to rebuild because they only had to trade one player, Memphis has to trade at least two, and buy out one player to start a rebuild.
You said the fact. You know teams rebuild for a lot of reason, The team is getting too old, your star player is no longer in their prime, or the bankroll can no longer afford to keep the talent together so let's not act like Marc doesn't fall in one of this and with the way things look for them ATM, I doubt they can continue coming back as 8th or 7th seed in the playoffs or they can suck for more years in the hopes of being a team good enough to compete with the top teams in the west.

I'm not saying the Grizz needs a rebuilt right now buy I'm sure they would give him out for TT, Shump and the Nets pick

I think they should rebuild anyways, move conley, parsons, and gasol the same year, its the key. Moving all of them at the same time to start a rebuild. You don't want to move one, and still be okay enough to make 30- 35 wins.

You won't get into the playoffs, and won't get a good pick either. Moving conley, and gasol the same year guarantees them enough picks to start all over again, Quickly. They might need to call that man in boston to teach them, Although, i don't think any team in the nba is as stupid as the nets. angry grin

How long did the boston rebuild take again? seems like the quickest rebuilding i have ever seen in my whole dang on life. shocked

Moving all of them at once will make them a complete a$$ , they are stuck with Parson, and Conley is still worth that contract, and I doubt the would wanna leave him. they can give us Marc and we give them the Nets pick and some other players, they would become a lame team for a year or Twp and hopefully they come back prepared grin

Celtics fans should keep thanking Ainge for a rebuild like this, imagine if Hayward wasn't injured. Even horford is bringing that Hawks vibe again. I just read an article now which says the teams Celtics lost to this season are the team the made a trade with
Cavs- IT, Crowder, Zizic and Jeff
Pistons- Bradley
Heats- Kelly Olynk, Jordan Mickey
Bucks- Jason Terry

What went wrong huh

Boy was I wrong! Whatever plan they had for him worked. K Love ate them up! Utterly destroyed them on the second night of a back to back. Great defensive and offensive performance.

LeBron got ejected for the first time in his career. Feel bad for the ref, he's getting fired. Still kind of sad, go 15 years without getting ejected and that's what does it?

I want to see the GM that would be stewpid enough to pick up the contracts of Parsons and Conley.

Dion Waiters was the obvious choice. Surprised you missed it

They need to deliver that Clippers franchise. They are cursed

I am telling you, that is why i think it is difficult for them to rebuild. Like who will take those contracts? Unless they buy out these guys contracts, no team in the Nba will take them. But then again, someone took paul pierce, and kevin garnett. Strangers things have happened

Wasn't too worried about him because even with the chip on his shoulder against the Cavs he's inconsistent. Traditional bigs tend to punish Kevin love.

Lol! Isn't Blake dating Kendall Jenner? Well there's your curse. It's real people!

Steve Kerr thank you. God bless. Sub 300 team prior to today + at the Oracle. Nice touch.

Faf around with the regular season till you overdecommission your players like Pop did in 15/16.

Continue.

.
Lakers have won the last 3 matchups at Staples Center I think. So no worry, you even get Lonzo smiley

But you don't want to catch Warriors after an L. Back to back Ls ain't their forte.

Hopefully, Curry will be out on a pedicure leave or something...

Yes. It's definitely going to be very tough. At times it's better to hit rock-bottom and rebuild properly than to be stuck in the purgatory of a middling team. The Grizzlies are now overpaying for perma-crocks like Parsons and Conley who have no upside

The Nets are a cautionary tale. Everybody don wise up

This hit right home when i think of dallas. I believe we should have reached rock bottom a year after winning a championship. Rebuild, and become better within two, three or four years.

But we were just in the middle, winning 49 - 50 games, first round playoff exit, and doing the same thing next year.

It is the same thing with the grizzlies too, If you keep conley and parsons, you will be winning 40 games, and won't be able to get a top 10 pick to rebuild your franchise, so you are just in the middle, not making playoffs, not winning, or making it, and exiting in the first round. If you keep gasol, conley, and parsons with good all around players, you get to the playoffs, make the second round and exit. You get into that situation where you just have to trade everyone at the same time, like ainge did with paul and garnett.

On the other hand, your best players can't get you to the promise land anymore, but you can't let them go because of bad contracts. The situation there is just all messed up.

Mark cuban dodged a bullet with parsons, because even if conley goes somewhere, parsons is definitely not, and you are stuck with buying him out.

Naa Whiteside won't score enough to trouble y'all.

Love was on fire last night. If his shots fall like that traditional bigs become useless.

they have to be a complete a$$ to be good. Struggling to make the playoffs and not getting a lottery pick is not the best, in hindsight, been good enough to make the playoffs and also exit in the second round with aging players is bad also. Would rather just tank to be honest, get at least two good picks from those players..... and tank for a year or two with a chance of getting two lottery picks..... before you know it, you are back in the mix again....

they will lose $$ sha which it all comes down to sha

Yeah but he can destroy us at the boards which is just as bad. And there was a time when our defense turned scrubs to all stars when it comes to scoring.

Love was amazing, if only he can be half as good as he was last night every night.

They think the curse is a joke. I did too, I don't anymore.

I remember after the Championship year the FO went to get Lamar Odom and Vince Carter. Smh

Then traded the future for Rondo, got jilted by Deandre Jordan of all people and then settled for Parsons. The lack of planning and direction was mind blowing.

They done injure Curry. undecided
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 6:09am On Nov 30, 2017
Everyone who leaves brodie takes their talent to a new level. You play with him and you're automatically a scrub who can't help.. Now it's Melo's fault they're losing according to some fans who claim he can't play defense but has 3rd best Defensive rating and efficient with their ISO grin

It's never the point guard who can't run the offense in the 2nd half, it's never the guy who when people leave, takes a career leap. Donovan will soon get fired which was long overdue for a coach who can't check his players or stars and hold them accountable for losses.
KD is playing defense like crazy, Kanter is holding his own on the Knicks, Oladipo playing like an MVP, Sabonis has basically divided Myles Turners minutes but Donovan didn't see those potentials. The playoffs was important but letting your PG run his numbers at the expense of other players was more importanter grin
Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 7:32am On Nov 30, 2017
When last did we have a PG that can't shoot?
Ben Simmons is good but a pile of shït when it comes to doing the basics
