Klay Thompson has been a big disappointment this year. To think I once thought he could potentially be the best SG in the league

Can we have a moment of silence for an old forumite and diehard Bulls fan (Bawomolo) today marks the 7th year since he was killed. May he continue to rest
I was fortunate to enjoy few months of his presence on this thread before he was killed. Man, was Bawomolo intelligent!!!!!!

Great job A40..

Tbh,i didnt meet him but i just searched for him and found out he was a derrick rose fan.

From his posts,i could see he was a brilliant NBA analyst.

May his soul continue to rest in peace.

Lool we were like Tom and Jerry on this thread and the NFL thread where I kept preaching the good news about the uselessness of Jay Cutler. Later found out he was my high school friend and classmate's younger brother.

Still painful because of his age and the way which he lost his life. Thoughts to his family who have to deal with the loss on a daily basis

Smart kid beyond his years. Was in grad school at that point.

Sad but what can we do

I remember some of the banters especially on the NFL thread which used to be more active than it is now.

Bawomolo loved his city (Chicago) so much, sadly and ironically, the bad vices of his beloved city took his life. Its a very small world especially since we are all speaking behind a device.

He would be especially mad that all his favorite teams have gone to shyte like I warned him back then.

Sad that his neighborhood wasn't exactly a hotbed of crime. The world has gotten much worse since then though and as it turns out his shooting was like a sad trailer of what the future held in store

Has it been that long? My goodness. I must have blocked out that memory because I had to google it to even remember. The senseless way a promising life was taken by people with no hope really hit home back then. Prayers up for his folks, wherever they are.

And thanks to A40 for even remembering

I knew the moniker because someone on the rap thread did a eulogy about him when he passed. I was not viewing that thread in real time but I did a little research and realized his killer was eventually apprehended.

The sad part; he was killed by his neighbour who lived 2 blocks away and tried to rob him.

It was tragic considering it was not gang-related or any of those things, to add to the fact that he seemed to be well-known and loved on here.

I hope his family have weathered the storm. The one's who have left us feel nothing.

All the same, I declare a mystery: we shall not all sleep...

10 wins for The Cavs. I am now worried that they have a winning team but also satisfied that Bron will burn-out before June.

grin

I'm still wondering what is bruised hand

Like his light skinned black äss touched charcoal and the stain couldn't come off huh
The guy is just trying out some weird rotations some of which don't seem to be working.

And then nobody blows more leads than us - except maybe Steel companies.

Anything short of 67 wins will pain me walahi but I am more focused on the playoffs. My star players don't seem to care so much about the regular season this time around.

You have no idea! There's a reason he is the best player on the planet!

The Cavs are on a ten game winning streak, and everyone is feigning ignorance grin - why so much hate for Lebron though.

PS: He'll still end his career as the GOAT

I searched for his moniker the day you listed LeBron's hater, you also mentioned him. Too sad he was killed by a senseless act of violence. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Tell your boy to stop beeching about calls though. He has been solid this year tbh. I have followed Lebron all through his career and a book should be written on how much work he has put in his jumper. He can extend his career by two years at the minimum and make a run for KAJ's record if he keeps at it
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:07am On Dec 02, 2017
This McCaw boy is solid. Golden State not really breaking too much sweat. Its almost too easy

The fouls they would not call for Steph. undecided
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 2:58am On Dec 02, 2017
Meanwhile Simmons getting calls like he is the face of the NBA.
Re: The NBA Begins by Hardetayour: 3:30am On Dec 02, 2017
The foul on Durant before the ejection was flipping obvious.
Aaron Gordon was throwing flames from 3. Fournier too.

Jordan Bell dunks are fire.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:51am On Dec 02, 2017
These calls are becoming absolutely ridiculous
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 6:56am On Dec 02, 2017
Congratulations to the Chef. Curry for passing J. Kidd to become the 8th all time 3 pointers leader. Can you imagine if his ankles held on earlier in his career?

Lol. Simmons own na "hack" cos he can't shoot FTs...

Teams do it to ruin 76ers rhythm
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 8:23am On Dec 02, 2017
These refs need to chill with the ejections. And the officiating is already terrible and now they start with the ejections. If everyone gets the kinds of call James Harden gets it'll be so much better or maybe worse..

Lebron's ejection was the most stupid ejection I've ever seen.. You didn't give the guy his foul, he complained and then you eject him. It'll be catastrophic if they carry this act into the playoffs as they can totally decide a series by just ejecting a player.

Their attention seeking needs to stop.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 9:17am On Dec 02, 2017
This current draft class is surely the best in NBA history.

Donovan Mitchell 41points....WTFFF? shocked shocked shocked

LOL. I know this.

I should have written his initials. I was referring to Jonathan Simmons of Orlando Magic. That former SAS player. Dude was getting calls yesterday. Some of which were deserved, but not Curry and at a point KD got the same treatment.
