So if arsenal players have the ball most of the time, the eleven players will keep defending most of the time.

I wonder what will happen when he meets guirdiola and his craze for hugging ball possession.

About 9 Matches within a Month Bro?! We will be playing without Bailly, Jones, Fellaini, Carrick and maybe Matic.

I hope Fatigue won't tell on the Players, also pray there won't be more additions to the injury List.
I know the schedule looks hectic. But its December. That's how it usually is this time of the year.
Besides every other team in the top 4 will play similar number of matches.

And as far as injuries go, i dont think its as bad as when LVG had to call up Rashford from the U-18 team or when he had to use Young as a striker.
No worry. We'll be alright! smiley

I remember when 5 CB's at the beginning of the season, looked like too much grin
It is still too much. May be that is why we now play 3. And all the CBs are good.

If we play Smalling and Rojo, Lindelof will be on the bench. Moreover, Blind can still manage that position against small teams or teams that play slowly.

it's not looking too much anymore.
Its almost guaranteed that at any point in time, we are going to be having at least 2 injured.
Our playing 3 at the back against Watford was specifically because of the opponent.

blind at CB is a no no. Especially against small teams. The man can't win a header to save his life, and small teams can very easily capitalize on that.

Jose will probably play the 3. He sees Blind as a LB

I like the Group, it's a very good Draw for the Eagles. It will make the NFF to prepare the Team very well for the Competition.

We ain't going to the World Cup to make Number, rather to prove Something. The Group would tell whether Eagles are Contenders or Pretenders.

Dude, we're not even pretenders not to talk of being contenders. We're somewhere between pretenders and ground zero.

That place is a No holds barred and No prisoners taken zone. You put in a realistic opinion and the vultures will gladly swarm in.

When putting "realistic" opinions of such be respectful to the team you tends to support. Those are patriotic people, currently the team is doing well and is touted as one to watch by several international sites, papers and analysts. Most of us thinks castigating and whining about the team you claim to support (Which most times with unfair judgements) is being realistic. Cheer up your team and point out grey areas when there is, not whining and nagging.

Match day, big decisions Mou has to make, if Matic isn't fit to start, who gets the nod to replace him, Herrera or Fellaini?
I will like to see us play 3 at the back with Young and Val as wing backs and a front three of Martial - Lukaku - Rashford...But I would still be happy if Mou decides to drop Rashford to the bench and have Pogba on a free role with the back 3 protected by a double pivot of Herrera and Fellaini if Matic doesn't start.

I doubt Fellaini is Fit.
Herrera been the available option, will pick up defensive duties, in a possible 3-4-3 Formation.

I doubt Mourinho will go for a 4-3-3. In this regard.

....Rashford.....Lukaku......Lingard

....Young......Pogba......Herrera

Rojo......Smalling....Lindelof.... Valencia

.............De Gea................

Bro... I will advise you to visit the Thread, then you will understand what we are talking about. It's on the Thread Dudes were saying Racism and Politics are the Causes of Iheanacho lack of playing Time at Leicester City.

They claimed Iheanacho is better than Vardy, Slimani and Co? They believe he is the most deadly Striker based on his Records and Stats at Man City?! So is that patriotism?!

Iheanacho is a god on the Thread..... dare to criticize him, even fairly, and get lashed!

Those guys are a funny bunch.
Their analysis is blinded by patriotism, which is a good thing, but outrightly, is flawed.

Analysis are always meant to point out flaws even when a game is won, like we do here.

We may be unhappy that we won 4-0 or 4-1 or 3-1.
But we get to look into the Style of play and atimes positioning.

As for Iheanacho's case I belief its best he moves into the SS position, there he's unplayable..

Take Note of his contribution in Nigeria's 2nd and 3rd goals.

“Matic is a doubt, I hope he can [play] but I cannot guarantee he’s selected to go. Let’s see the feeling before the match, let's see the warm-up.

"I hope he can, he wants to [play] but I cannot guarantee. [Marouane] Fellaini is not travelling with the team.”
