Re: Memoirs Of A Yoruba Demon by sheikshegetto(m): 3:13pm On Dec 09, 2017
The old me would have let it slide, leave all to the hands of fate and stuff like that but I was done playing the nice guy, omotola needed to know that she can’t eat her cake and have it, she needed to be taught a lesson, and I needed someone to practice on.

To Priscilla’s surprise, I did not confront omotola, neither did I react to the news of her infidelity, I continued to act like things were normal. Maybe she thought I was an idiot after all but either ways, she held her peace.
The first thing that needed to go was to throw off omotola’s mental shackle off my neck, and turn events in my favour, she thought it was all games and strategy ,I just made it personal.

First of…I brought the spending’s down a notch, not entirely so she wouldn’t suspect a thing, the illusion that she was still in charge had to be maintained.
The next thing I made sure of was let her know the world don’t evolve around her anymore, that she was not the brightest thing in the sky, who are we kidding, sorry for insulting you all this while dear sunlight. All these were subtle hints that she was losing her firm grip on me, and she needed to do something fast in order to reel me back in.

And the last thing I did I was not so proud of, I used poor Priscilla in my plans. My excuse back then: my war was against women folk, and well she classified as one, so she was game, and another reason was because she knew all along while I was making a fool of myself, for that alone, she also goes to the headsman block.

Now when I come visiting, I don’t focus my attention alone on omotola like I used to, I made it seems like I was enjoying Priscilla’s attention as well as I subtly weaved my charms around her not enough to arouse suspicion but enough to call omotola’s attention.
I then reduced my visit duration, making false excuses that I had something important to do at some place equally important. During my visits, I checked my phone at every interval as if distracted and sometimes gave a small smile whenever I saw her look over to make it seem like I was enjoying a chat with someone.

Prior to that moment I could have counted how many times omotola visited my place on my fingers, her excuses was that she didn’t like Lati my roomie and she didn’t trust me bla bla. Even when she managed to come over, she barely spent up to an hour or two before taking off like my place was located in the evil forest.
I stopped trying to force her to come and instead invited Priscilla over, I would drill Lati into his best behavior and made sure she had the time of her life.
Our hostel was built closed to an allocated airtel mast, so thanks to their agreement with our landlord, we had light 24/7. So combined with the latest movies on my laptop and the cheerful banter with Lati and I, she began to spend most of her free times with us, omotola wasn’t very happy about the new turn of events.

When you lose control of something you once had wrapped around your fingers, the fear of losing what you took for granted pushed you into making desperate attempts to bring that thing back under your control, from there error making decisions comes into the picture. Against her better judgment after failing to intimidate me with her trump card ( trial relationship), she then tried her sexual appeal, a grave mistake against demonic entities like me.

One day, I got a surprise call from her that she would be spending the night at my place cos Priscilla had travelled and she wouldn’t want to spend the night alone. My triumphant grin after I dropped her call must have been so unsettling cos a I startled a group of girls about settling down to read opposite me in the library away.
I quickly gathered my books and raced from the school library.

There is no space for books in a brain that is expecting a woman…that’s a fact, else you’re either a spirit or gay asf end of story.
I called lati to get his stuff and make himself scarce for the night, my guy complied without argument, that was how we roll, male readers will understand.

I knew she had it in her mind to come over to put me in my place, her mentality that all men are controlled by their genitals gave her that assurance but I was ready to prove her wrong and show her the errors of her ways.

Her first mistake was lati, she thought that with him there I wouldn’t have the audacity to go all the way as she tempted me back into submission but unfortunately for her…lati has been taken care of. Game set but this time I am behind the driver’s wheel.

As soon as I got home, I immediately cleaned and arrange my room….my phone rang, it was my mother.

Mom: hello okanlawon bawo ni? It’s been a while since you called for money ope ni fo’luwa o (thank God)

“Mummy I’m fine” I said impatiently, wishing I had not picked the call.

Mom: hello. Come, this one that you are behaving this way I hope you’re not up to something.
My mind skipped a beat at this as I consciously looked behind me, expecting my mother to materialize, a disapproving frown on her face.

“No! haba, of course not…what is it gan sef, I will ask for money I’m up to something… I don’t ask again I’m up to something.” I stammered a reply.

Mom: okay okay ma binu, I just felt that i should call to see if you’re okay, just remember whose son you are and don’t put your father and I to shame.

“Yes ma I’m fine, I coughed to cover my guilt…now that you have called send me small something nah.”

Mom: Hangs off.

My mom psychic talent of knowing when I was up to no good was still as sharp as ever as I almost called off the mission but I soon got over my guilt by the time omotola arrived.

As soon as she landed her first question was “where is lati” sorry babe…your immunity license is unavailable till further notice, I soon made her comfortable, got her a bowl of snacks and a bottle of soft drink booted up my laptop, opened the movies folder and told her to knock herself out. I then bounced out, leaving her alone to join my fellow lodge mates gathered outside to catch the evening breeze.

My plan to leave her alone was twofold, let her stew alone to the fact that her suspicion was confirmed, I was slipping out of her fingers and she coming to spend the night was a good plan after all. The second reason was not act too eager or hyper enough to make her panic as it still wasn’t late for her to change her mind and leave.
She soon got bored and came calling where I sat chilling with my neighbors, the old me would have jumped at her call, but I calmly told her I was coming and took my sweet time excusing myself from my peers.

Anyway fast forward to bedtime o, innocent like, I took my blanket and prepared to crash on lati’s bed instead.

“Bioye what are you doing?” She queried.

“I want to sleep of course.” I yawned quite exaggerating.

“What happened to your bed?”

“huh…you are sleeping on it”

“so you expect me to sleep alone?”

“Babe it’s your first time here, I don’t want to give you a reason to stop coming, and whereas I don’t want trouble, small thing you are touching me.”

She laughed at this and told me not to worry, she would behave herself.

If you insist.” I shrugged, hiding my predatory grin and leapt for my bed with the expertise of a champion Olympic swimmer.
