A chairman and Deputy from the south?

The PDP is playing a dangerous game sha. They need the SW and can't afford another tussle.
Since the North is going to produce the presidential candidate while the south-east produces the vice, i see nothing wrong in the chairmanship and deputy chairmanship going to different regions in the north.

My only concern is, why Ladoja who was a former governor of a state has o be a deputy to Uche Secondus, also considering the fact that he's older. It just sounds strange except he has no qualms with the arrangement.

I don't know what you want them to do

Give us two candidates to choose from

You present six

And they have started going to court even before election

Imagine what will happen after election

Am from Osun but south south or east should take it

Pdp can't afford such leadership tussle at this time

Let those that are speaking with one voice take it

Let them Sw aspirants continue to pull themselves down

Truth is, a National Chairman who cannot deliver his Ward and all the way to his Zone is not worthy of the office. None of the SW aspirants can deliver. Can Bode George win an election in Lagos State?

Awon “I’m from the SW but....”, “I’m Yoruba but...”, “I’m from Osun State but...”

Sit there be deceiving yourselves. You don’t need to claim Yoruba to make a pointless statement.

very dangerous game, they better just postpone the convention to iron this important issue out. Atiku needs to sort this if he wants one vote from the southwest. because all this seems like taking the southwest for granted. something Gej learned too late, that he had to break open central bank just to rain dollars while making lagos his permanent residence . I was actually hoping for a close race so politicians will know not to take the electorate for granted, but pdp are making it too easy for APC at the moment.

As much as the SW is more APC-centric, PDP could still get considerable amount of votes in places like Ekiti, Ondo and even Oyo with the help of people like Ladoja.

What rubbish are you saying

Please tell me what South West has gained since supporting PMB

Tinubu was completely relegated and suddenly remembered

During Pdp era. We enjoyed having same party at the state and federal level there some benefit we enjoyed

Fayose was not having problem paying salaries when Pdp was in charge of the federal

I remember during oyinlola regime worker will strike by 8am they will call it off by 12 am

Don't think Pdp is doing you favour

South West aspirants are to blamed

Even where real democracy is practiced

Aspirants don't just spring up

Very good. After sharing all functional positions, you can then come to the South West and offer us the position of National Stabilizer. Tinubu will be very happy to campaign. Maybe PDP will tell us South-Westerners lo leave our sons and daughters in APC including Yemi Osinbajo, Raji Fashola, Kayode Fayemi, Segun Oni, Abike Dabiri, Tunde Fowler and others who are in control of the current administration and go and vote for PDP which is promising is the position of National Mumu.

There are two deputies,if you had bothered to read thoroughly..one from the South and another from the North..
And the SW should put their house in order, before looking for whom to blame..

You seriously believe Fayose (and by default EKITI) are one with PDP! He will give anything including defection to escape prosecution after the expiration of his term as Governor!
As for Ondo, for so long as Aketi keeps at it like he is doing presently it’s a long shot for the PDP. Meanwhile Oyo is an all-comers market with the “constituted authority” fart in the mouth of the Olubadan!

Atiku played his card too early

With the governors in charge of the party they can play him like they did to sherif

He should have waited till after the convention to be sure his choice candidate was made chairman

Now wike and fayose have PDP in their hands

Well played I most say , I have always underrated this two and being unsmart but to play sheriff and Atiku all in one year is a great achievement

You and your skewed analysis

Re: PDP Chairmanship: North Dumps South-West by bakynes(m): 8:34am On Dec 07, 2017
The PDP should go with Secondus or Dopeksi or any candidate from the SS.

I am Yoruba but PDP is weak in the SW better to give the SS since they are loyal to the party. Choosing a Party Chairman from the SW wouldn't change the majority of SW support for APC.

We already know SE will produce the Vice-President

The likes of Bode George,Ladoja,Adeniran,Gbenga Daniel cannot pull massive votes for PDP in their constituents sef. So they better give it to a more loyal zone before they loose their stronghold in the SS.

Kn23h, markfemi and co

Can you see how SW inability to present a consensus candidate for PDP chairmanship is going to rob us off the plum opposition job?

Yet you guys will be screaming Odua republic. Is this how we are going to run our country when we can't agree on a trivial issue as this

Nonsense!

One Nigeria!!

By the way, looonatic flatiyeasterners who didn't read the whole write up will be posting rubbish.

And some mods I thought were bright are actually quite dull as they couldn't realise that deputy chairmanship is a zonal position.

Too bad!!!

APC is winning in 2019

you guys should stop talking rubbish, this is only a party politics which is internal,

buhari and osibanjo stands no chance in 2019,

all Atiku needs to do is to pick a marketable vp from south west ,

you think you know political arimthmetics more than the pdp.

In a situation where the South West failed to present a consensus what do you expect the rest of the country to do? Same happened under GEJ and your region followed Tinubu and voted against your own candidate, lost Speaker position and voted for Tambuwal only to turn around and blame JEG
