I haven't heard from WES, meaning my verification hasn't been addressed and this is the third week. The NASU strike may be the reason for delay though.

Also I heard (unconfirmed though) that Unilag will only respond via email after they receive the hardcopy mail from wes and this can take up to 3 weeks.

I think it's more likely the rules will change in some way. That's almost certain. Whether it'll allow more people or not is what I can't say.

If you had waited a while longer, it would change still, automatically... There is really nothing to update... Your birthday never changes.

If it did not change in 2 weeks plus, it won't have. It's the case with some profiles. You know CIC's website has loads of technical issues. You don't change any thing, you just go in like you want to edit the DOB field, and re-submit, it would apply the new score immediately.

Meanwhile, fun fact. The majority express entry applicants come from India. Nigeria, on the other hand, is rather well represented. There was an increase of over 900% in applications from Nigeria from 2015 to 2016. We could be seeing an even bigger increase by the end of this year. And to think there were people from France too!

Interesting stats there. Even US, UK and China have good representations. Those indians though... they just have high CRS with their Masters. I thought Naija already flooded this ish but we are still way behind. It is also interesting to note that at least 10% of those numbers have passed through this thread. Another 900% again in 2017 perhaps?

If you can split the payment... I think you should try pay for transcript only and see if your school will treat. WES should have accepted your certificate by now thus no need paying to have certificate verified.

My Certificate evaluation has been delayed for months now, due to my school (UNICAL) not verifying my Cert/Transcript.
I have tried to get WES to give a contact to reach in UNICAL but they could not give out this information due to their confidentiality clause.

Please which school is requesting for the 20K for verification and how did you access this information?
