First of all, it was Dbanj who set the pace for all Nigerian musicians... he was the first Nigerian artiste to collaborate with an international act...

Also, Drake featured Wizkid only once... which was "One dance"

Drake jumped on Wizkid's "Ojuelegba" because the beat was dope... then decided to feature Wizkid on "One dance"... but Wizkid didn't impress him...

He made no sense! And we all know that Drake is a lyricist... He cares much about the lyrics... That's why they had to tone his verse down...

As for the "Come Closer", Wizkid was the one who featured Drake... And just like anyone would do, Drake accepted as long as he will be paid...

When the first video of "Come Closer" was dropped, Drake didn't show up... Wizkid gave an excuse... The second video dropped & Drake didn't still show up... If you check in YouTube, the first video had 47m views & that was because people were expecting to see Drake but he didn't show up... that's why when the second "Come Closer" video came out, it had only 4m views... you see the gap?

But as for Tekno, he might be signed to Drake's record label.. because he's a producer... as long as Tekno can be producing dope beats for him... And it will also open more doors for Tekno.. because most international acts are trying to break into the Nigerian market... Tekno can be producing American/Nigerian beats for them...

So stop saying Tekno can't measure up with Wizkid... Time will tell...

Why do I have this feeling that Wizkid's fans are so bitter. Someone said Drake featured Wizkid three times, yet He never came closer. Tekno hasn't been Featured but Drake is all over
