Tnx alot amija,

Pls can I get the email address of the Dr.

Thanks.
amija:

Hello Odirinm,
My wife used oakbend and dr fagbohun in november 2015 and the hospital fee was 2300(uncomplicated virginal birth) while the dr's fee was 2400 (you get 20 percent discount if paid in full on ur second hospital visit). everything we spend was little over 7000usd.
we intend using same hospital and same doctor in april 2018 and just little change in the fees. dr's fee is now 1850 while hospital fee is now 2750. you can also check other doctors in houston.
as for the best POE, if you got ur visa for birthing purpose u will be fine using any POE. otherwise, u can try new york or dallas.

Hello everyone. Am new here. Am going to have my second baby in houston, TX, am planning on using Oakbend but don't av a doc yet.
I also have a second choice of NewYork. King county, Brooklyn.
Pls anyone that has used any of these hospital should help a sister out with doctors info, hospital charges and any knowledge of accommodation.
I plan to leave by January ending.
Also, I had my first baby in Chicago but heard POE there is now strict, any update on the best route to take for my Houston or Newyork waka? What is the new update on POE requirements.
Thanks everyone as I wait individual responses.

PS: this thread on nairaland is the best. You guys rock.

Chicago POE Is not for the faint hearted but you can always land in JFK or any closer aiport and fly local to Chicago and use mukti city which means arrive in One airport and Return to Nigeria via Chicago.
That way you avoided the dreaded Chicago on arrival and you leave through there.

Anyway the secret is to be well prepared whatever the POE but alas Chicago eh nnnn

Femocheeee of life. I doubt your claim that you have read this thread.
Visa appointment yet no doctors correspondence.

Anyway type hospitals in Virgina or doctors in Virginia or birth in Virginia in the search box above on beneath the page then narrow tour search to Travel section.

You would have sooo much to choose from.

Hello everyone,
I am a silent reader, I got into DFW on the 29th of Oct., the queue was something else. I almost collapsed. I went through the first stage where you will do passport reading.

Then I processed to pick my luggage and face the CBP guy.

CBP: How long are you here for?
Me: Till Christmas
CBP: You're pregnant?
Me: Yes
CBP: Do you have family?
Me Yes
CBP: place your finger here.
CPB: Do you have food
Me: yes. The guy stamped me in for 6 months. Nothing was checked nor ceased.

POE was breeze, I am sitting pretty and waiting for my LO. Please pray for me and the day drwas really close. My doctor wanted to induce labor but I refused and my due date is still far away.

Please any Dallas mum in the house, boredom is killing me here.

God bless...

Congratulations on your successful enterance. Pls does this mean you didnt indicate childbirth for your trip?cos u said u r there till xmas, ur EDD is still far.... jst thinking aloud.

Good evening People,
A friend of mine is planning to fly with Qatar Airways but found out they have stringent policies for pregnant passengers.
Please can someone who had travelled with them recently share the experience with me? Please will deeply appreciate.

Did you write the letter with the documents needed. Then they would send you an approval letter from Nigeria Immigration service.

Its more of a letter stating your baby’s details and when you would be landing and that your request has been approved

Hi all,
I have been a silent reader and it's my first time commenting. Don't know if i will get an adequate response to my question but i will try my luck. I discovered everybody here is applying from Nigeria so the story is different. My question is can i apply for birth visa( i mean stating the purpose) while on a student visa in another country. I'm considering this option because it's gonna take 10yrs to get citizenship for my LO if i chose to givie birth here and the cost of birthing is almost the same. Thanks

I think they want to hear that you want the dual citizenship for your child. that is the truth. the idea of better health is not totally the truth cos you can get that from the UK and UAE etc.

just reapply and if they ask why you want to have your baby in the us, tell them you want the dual citizenship for your child and since it's legal and you can afford it why not alongside the good health care.

My one cent

In the spirit of giving back to my Nairalanders, my visa has been granted ooooo..Help me Thank God, my people.
I went for another interview last week and was asked the same question-
- Why Us ? Told d VO for dual citizenship opportunity for my child
It is good to be truthful and be honest with them.

@drI, @adedoyin2108, @ ugoguchy , thanks for your response and word of encouragement.

Wishing all prospective visa seekers all d best.

Merry Xmas in Advance to you all.
