No problems, it's your money you can do whatever you like with it. However, I would love you to understand a number of things about the #TAP challenge.
1. You can Tithe to your Daddy G.O. if you like but know that "Tithing has no business in Christianity". Let it be that you are not being scammed or threatened with death and all types of curses if you don't tithe.
2. The challenge is not merely about giving to the needy, it is pledging to bring one person or two out if poverty with your 'tithe' and challenging others to do the same. By igniting the chain reaction, more and more people will start leaving the poverty benchmark.
3.Thank you as well.
How many has Freeze brought out of poverty?. Let him sell his rolex watch and give to the poor first.

If you dont care then stay silent.
If that jet went to proclaim the Gospel in 150 countries
Then u have no point.
The gospel is more important than food
Food rottens here on earth
The gospel saves u for eternity

The clear point here is that the truth is always bitter to accept, even in the early days when the likes of martin Luther king, john Knox e.t.c challenged our religious leaders then it was bitter to accept, now someone is pointing what's going wrong in the church you all have refused to listen, have you forgotten that the law was made for man, and d spirit tells us what is right and not these pastors, these countries they are carrying these gospel message to, like Europe I guess are they not the same ones that brought the message to us in the first place, and another question is why go abroad on private jet to preach the gospel when we still have alot of unbelievers here in Nigeria, to me all na Efizzy they are too proud. How some one who calls himself a man of God be driving in his/her convoy see people lying under the bridge hungry, unclothed, sick and still comfortably mount pulpit to go and preach rubbish, all they distribute to poor people are nonsense flyers and rubbish books written by them not even bible, how will someone hungry read? I pity fools paying to already made family and still end up in hell fire

Lolx.... It has gone beyond freeze Bro. If you see this as a noble course then shield your saw and embrace it. Let's make this season a #TappingSeason.

By the way... You don't have to sell anything to achieve this. It shouldn't be a burden. That little money can help set up a recharge card business for that little girl, it can start kerosene business for the mama in the village.

Forget about freeze, you are not giving him the money...it is way beyond him now....let's #TAP our nation to prosperity.

Philippians 4:15 And as you Philippians know, at the beginning of my gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in this matter of giving and receiving except you alone.

4:16 For even in Thessalonica on more than one occasion you sent something for my need.

4:17 It is not that I am seeking the gift. Rather, I seek the credit that abounds to your account.

4:18 For I have received all things, and I have plenty. I have all I need because I received from Epaphroditus your gifts—a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, very pleasing to God.

4:19 And my God will supply all that you need according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.....

Stop deceiving yourself.
Money given to a bible believing church is also giving money to God.
They are all important

The gospel supercedes every other form of food.
Deuteronomy 26:12 "Every third year you must offer a special tithe of your crops. In this year of the special tithe you must give your tithes to the Levites, foreigners, orphans, and widows, so that they will have enough to eat in your towns.

I bet your Yahoo pastor will not quote this one to you but will only focus on Malachi 3:10

The problem we all have in this country is that,we don't read our Bible,we all depend on what our Pastors feed us

1) Nobody is forcing anyone to pay tithe...If u bliv in it,do it..And if otherwise, leave it

2)God will not kill u if u don't pay ur tithe...With respect to those that are in the Prison and Hospitals, will God kill them if they don't pay tithe? NO

3) One thing that is sure is, even if we all decide not to pay..Men of God will eat..They are also God's creation,God will take care of us all

What happen to the TEN COMMANDMENTs given to Moses? So the children of Israel didn't need to be reminded to pay tithe?

come to think of this!!! the issue of tithing has taken over the discussion recently. Nobody is talking about SALVATION.

Jesus said there are 2 commandments
1. thou shall love God with all thy Might, strength and heart. and
2. Thou shall LOVE ur Neighbour as thyself.

how do we love God? S I M P L E

Praise Him, Exalt Him, Worship Him and Obey His Commandments (as given to Moses)

and how do we love our Neighbours? O B V I O U S

Take him as yourself, do to him/her how u would expect another to do to u.

Tithe simply means 10 percent
So how are you sure of the percentage the church members gave?
Even In the book of Acts, it is recorded that some christians even gave 100 percent of all they had.

So tithe is even an understatement.

By the way, have you now seen that money given to a bible believing church is also a sacrifice unto God?
young man, Christians practice Christianity.
Jews practice Judaism.
While Muslim practice Islam.

God is not in that building or that fat pastor who already has a home with kids whose schools your own children may never get to attend. God is on the streets , the less privileged , that child who can't further his education because of N6,500 jamb form, God is in the prisons , God is that family that can't feed, God is that cleaner in your office whose kids school fees depends on that megare salary, etc. I have since donated my tithes to these people and belive me my life has changed for good. Keep deceiving yourself. How much and how often do you give to the poor and needy even? Hypocrite!

The new testament early church gave all that they had (beyond a tenth) and you are here lamenting over a tenth. Study your scriptures.

Are you being forced to tithe? Why are you so bitter when others willingly tithe? Do you think every pastor is selfish and materialistic?

Tithing is older than the law. It is not compulsive in the new testament church regardless of its validity.

Minister should be taken care of. They are not beggars. How much have you sown into a ministers life? Do you think they don't have bills to pay and families to run? If you don't want to tithe, congrats.... Leave others who willingly choose to.

lol, hahaha so it's not about what the scriptures says again it's now using common sense to know ministers will chop?? How about they look for a better work Abi standing and talking weekly na work So the poor should go and die while d ministers must be fed?? Hahahaha nigerians sha

You are arguing with the wrongest person. Even the Holy Spirit cannot change his mind once it heads in a particular direction. He'd rather engage in the most bewildering and annoying sophistry than change his mind in the face of overwhelming evidence. He's trying to manipulate you by saying if you say that pastors are over fed then you have no business being in church. Well let me show you that perhaps even the God himself who spoke in the Bible ought not to be in church because he called out the priests and prophets feeding themselves and starving the people:

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds, the leaders of Israel. Give them this message from the Sovereign LORD: What sorrow awaits you shepherds who feed yourselves instead of your flocks. Shouldn't shepherds feed their sheep?

You drink the milk, wear the wool, and butcher the best animals, but you let your flocks starve.Ezekiel 34:4

In short read the whole of Ezekiel 34.

So don't let any wanna-be journeyman defender of the faith guilt shame you. It is only those who are ignorant of church history that would be surprised with the thievery going on in the name of tithes and offerings. Historically right from within the Bible and down through post-biblical times including our day, Priestcraft has always tended towards fleecing the people.

First, you have craftly ignored the question about the biblical meaning of tithe? But it is up to you if you want to continue being dishonest with yourself to support your 'bible believing church'.

I only tried to correct the notion that the passage you quoted was about giving to a bible believing church, It was only talking about giving to someone who is in need.

As for which church is need, I don't know but I can point out to a number of persons that are in need in the church.

As for the church needing money to preach to 7 billion people on earth... that is a lie from the pit of hell. Nobody needs a dime to preach to anyone.
As i will always say it the Bible can get u confused if u are an ordinary man.u need the help of the Holy Spirit to truely understand the writing in the Bible so uf u don't have the Holy Spirit in you keep shut and stop arguing on something you know little about
As i was taugh in Sunday school tithes is something u give from your heart as a true Christian not as sth u give bcause u are under obligation.the Bible said it that God looks at your heart not the work you do thats why no matter what you do in God's house and you are not saved you will still go to hell.
Just pay youe tithes and let God punish the fake pastors Himself thats His work. In the Bible the sons of Eli committed sins against God even in the Temple they stole from the meats that was supposed to be used as burnt offering . God could have chosen to kill them immediately but He had plans ready for them and gave them their punishment when d time came
Just pay your tithes ( if u are ready and it is not by force) and let God do the punishing
