Nice plan with the Ojota luxury bus station but they could have had more dialogue with those companies that seal up their facilities.

What is the present state of the Ojota alternative bus station? Are the amenities they enjoy in Jibowu available in Ojota.

Why do they have to wait till December before effecting the Governor's directive when they know this is the most lucrative season for those transporters? Anyway, I know those guys will go sort the LASG officials sha.

Eko Onibaje o
Good question! But you know we human beings in general and especially Nigerians na, the best time to get us doing something is the time when we know that we have something to loose by not doing the needful. And besides, its been a few months now that we have been hearing about this Jibowu movement. And truly like u mentioned, I hope all necessary amenities are in place in the new park.

I am not here to exchange words with you, I am sure you type base on your level of reasoning, until you show me in my comment where I said the decision affects all the travelers residing in Lagos.

Don't tell me you didn't see where I said from "YABA-OJOTA? What does that meant to you? Did I say from entire Lagos city to ojota?

Having a general bus station is a very good plan, the fact that it's being turned into a tribal issue here shows state of mentality majority of Nigerians still wallow in. Even the educated ones..smh

How many Igbos were in Oshodi market? Go and look at the shops in Arena and Oshodi inside, how many Igbos are there? Just because you have 5 people selling pin mouth charger by the roadside for the same person, you think you're numerous?

Lagos must be sanitised and developed whether you like it or not. We won't allow you ruin Lagos like you ruined Onitsha, Aba and Umuahia making them the dirtiest cities in the world.

Lagos is not Home for All, Anambra is Home for All. Behave yourself or get out.

I disagree with u bro....80% of shops in arena market is owned by ibos...go make ur research

We need leaders that would protect the homeland and the people of the region. I commend him for his work and i specifically urge him to concentrate on lagos roads. We also need to reclaim our assembly seats that have gone to outsiders{We can exempt people of the SS, they dont hate us that much} back in Oshodi/Isolo and Ajeromi Ifelodun. Tinubu needs to get our legislative seats back. It is very important.

This is very important. There's no point electing a hardcore Igbo person to LSHA simply because he was born in Lagos because we all know they never stop identifying as Igbo, they never stop denigrating Yorubas because of the bitterness from the civil war.

Like the other guy who went back to his village in the east to celebrate his birthday & give back to his people. Why didn't he contest on their platform in the first place?

You might see it as smart move because it does not affect you, I remember my days @Yaba in 2003/04. If you come to Jibowu around 5am to board a bus, bro your late already, travelers camps there as early as 4am, you need to see crowd... Bro imaging what such people will go through now in this short period of time.

I have been in their shoes before and I know how it feels, try carry loads to board a danfo then you will understand.
But whichever way you sees it. Good for you.
Who says it does not affect me? this guy can assume sha. Na so you assume say all travellers live in Yaba just because only you dey live for Yaba.
Do you know there are parks in Mile2, Mazamaza, Ajah, Ojo, etc. Under bridge for Jibowu na under bridge, no be park. SIMPLE!
The same way we have been camping in Yaba 3am, so also we will camp in ojota 3am.

Why your preek dey rise?!!. Ojota is a much more better location. The companies and travelers prefer that. They just need more time to move.
Besides all other terminals like Mazamaza, Orile etc are still intact.

Jibowu has never been a good location. I like the move.

No one can say this is tribalism because just yesterday residences and offices of Lagosians probably including some indigenes were destroyed for development purposes in Agege.

I must say Lagos and Ambode are doing good and credit must also go to the foundation layers of this - Tinubu and Fashola. Yes they are all not perfect, but then no one is.

The good works of Lagos APC is what rubbed on other states like Edo etc to start making life a little better in other states, but Lagos is still striving and leading the way.

However the Progressive vibe doesn't seems to reflect in the Presidency and Nat. Assembly levels..

The sheer scale of Public oriented construction going on now warms my heart.

Presently Airport road to Oshodi is ongoing ( i live near there) Remember its a Federal road that was an eyesore..an embarrassment and a dirty first impression to anyone coming to Nigeria for the first time. The FG never touched it for years but now Lagos took it upon itself to redo it and not just "touching" real large scale construction plus a modern bus terminus at Oshodi.

The Lagos govt could av stolen his money they are using by "planting flower" etc and inflating cost. I must commend them.

Makes me proud to be from the Yoruba race,in spite of our haters we are still showing Nigeria how to do it right.

Let me start now :

AMBO FOR PRESIDENT,

AMBODE the silent achiever,

AMBO WEY GO ALLOW ME ENJOY MY LAMBO for LAG.

God bless you sir.

**
I remember one day in the late 90s or early 2000s looked at Lagos and i prayed : "Lord clean up this city i beg!" And slowly he is cleaning it up. So lets all continue to pray for this country and state.

EKO BAJE TI - GOD BLESS NIGERIA
