SIRcumalot:Annoying part of all this is not like the team cannot play football. Against TTH we moved the ball well to an extent. Even against Arsenal and City but to sustain that pressure and play is the problem. It's like as if they just resign themselves to the fact that the only way is to withdraw back to defend from deep. |

SIRcumalot:Dude has to rediscover his scoring form. He's been looking dull in front of goal. He's supposed to be scoring at least once in 2 or 3 games. Not 2 goals in 10 games. And it doesn't matter if he scores 4 against Brighton, as long as he keeps on scoring. That way he'll score against top teams with time. |

BlueAngel444:Lukaku's. Mata actually had a better chance as he was running towards the post, expectinga rebound from a lose ball. He had a better chance at placing it in whichever direction he wanted. Lukaku had to latch on to a fast moving ball which is much more difficult to place. |

SIRcumalot:Not a bad idea. Ibra and Lukaku have been linking up well the few minutes they've played together. Lukaku can play up top and Ibra can be the AM/SS behind him with Pogba in midfield as well. Ibra's got a good vision and can string together key passes but Ukaku will need to work on his off-the-ball movement. However it can only work well with teams that sit back and defend. Will Mou try it? I have no idea |

CapitalCee:Anyone can claim they built foundations, Ranieri and Gullit can say he built the foundation for Chelsea, Moyes built foundation for Man Utd, Sven Erikson and Mark Hughes built for Man City, Klinsmann built for Bayern etc what matters is the result he got. Or should we discount the results he got at Inter and Porto and start evaluating the foundation he built there since both teams have got worse since he left |

CapitalCee:Mata was better than Silva till Mou happened, what helped Silva is the team he plays in and the coaches he has had. The last time Mata was in an attacking team was at Chelsea. There is nothing to look at towards Matic. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by CapitalCee(m): 5:51pm On Dec 13, 2017 |
BlueAngel444:There was no point in Matas career that he was adjudged to be beta than silva, yes chelsea an attacking team that parked the bus against benfica Barca and bayern enroute winning the champions league. Matic has been fantastic in United this season unless you chose to ignore it, because you have to put up with yoko |

CapitalCee: I guess it's Mou's fault for shelling out 100m for a striker and still being unable to play to his established strengths. But then has your view changed to it's Mou's fault (lemme keep reading ) |

Skimpledawg:For club 2011/2012 Mata 12 goals 20 assists in all comps, Silva 8 goals 21 assists in all comps for City 2012/13 Mata 19 goals 35 assists Silva 5 goals 13 assists Before Mourinho came into Matas life 31 goals 55 assists in 2 seasons In the same time Silva 21goals 34 assists That was Matas productivity before Mourinho came into his life, We can say if Mourinho had gone to coach Silva at that time, probably Silva wont be a footballer anymore |

And raumdeuter has not told us how mourinho who is "aversed to playmaking" has names like Joe cole, Hazard, Deco, Sneidjer, Ozil, Fab and currently Pogba are flourishing under him. While Hleb and Fab failed under Pep the attacker. |

![]() Seem some United still believe in Mediocrity. This is United, not Arsenal or Brighton we are talking about ffs! JM is killing the Team, he's not ready to change is idiotic philosophy! He's a Coward, and too stubborn to adjust. This is Someone who so much believe in Ruggedness than Skills. It's so amusing some Fans are beginning to see Fellaini as a good Midfielder, the Afroman.... .?! LOL JM should pack off to wherever he likes after his Contract expires at United. I was a big Fan of the Coward until the City Match. I've lost all my Confidence in him, coz tactically he's a big Fool! I'm ain't subscribing my Decoder, nor paying at the Viewing Centers only to be dulled and bored with defensive Ish! I wanna get entertained, not celebrating "Oriyomi" Victories all the Time. JM should fûck off, and a competent, attack-minded Manager should be sought to succeed him. |
