Yeah its the team that wins the 3rd place match at a world cup. Its this same thread someone was telling us about the numerous CL winners and world cup experienced players at City, So why not show them the ones in Man Utd with CL and world cup experience that finished 3rd in the world cup

You never reach house to prove to me that Hazard had better offensive output with Mourinho than without Mourinho.

Output alone not ballot box awards

I watched the highlight and saw that Lukaku clearance was blocked by another united player. What should he have done instead?

The chance he missed was saved by the keeper. If it was De Gea that made that save you would have been hailing him instead of cussing the striker.

Ronaldo has passed over a thousand balls to the opponents. Kante even passed to ghost last weekend.
Unbelievable!!!

Since you have been watching United, how many times have you seen a United player stamp his man in such a manner in our box? Saha, Rooney, Tevez, Berbatov, Van Persie, Ibrahimovic, etc. And in same match Lukaku chested down for Silva.

No need sef. Bye!

But there is a world of difference between a CL/WorldCup winner and a "3rd Placed Team" in the worldcup nah?

Funny enough I am in the Pep camp. I'd choose a Pep over a Mourinho everyday of the week. The only time I'd rather have Mourinho on the touchline is if it's a do or die/winner takes it all affair. And that's only because I believe I am more likely to get a result with Jose's "keep it tight" approach than I am with Pep's expansive footy.

Ohhh make we no lie, Pep inherited a better squad than Jose.

LVG is damn right after all about JM Style of Play! I was scared of United getting paired with Real Madrid in the UCL R-16 Draw, coz its no doubt JM gonna park "Double-Decker" Bus and a locomotive Train in the both Legs and hoping for an undeserved, accidental Victory.

The Dude needs to bounce before it's too late.
let's pray he does not park a nuclear submarine on a carrier against sevilla.

Thank you. why is no one blaming mata who also missed the rebound. he is supposed to have had a clearer picture of the situation.
Yes, Mata's miss was terrible. I told my friends that I felt Mata who has very good ball direction should have placed that ball beyond the keeper neatly. His miss was also very bad.

The first time, I didn’t think Lukaku's miss was very terrible. But watching it from youtube, I think a sharp striker like him with his stronger foot, should have placed that ball beyond the the keeper. But he stamped the keeper who was about the middle of the goal. From youtube, I agree with Shearer and Henry. Lukaku missed it badly. Shearer said that is the difference between good and very good strikers

They all have world cup experience which is the point of categorizing Peps squad as a better squad

Pep inherited the 2nd oldest squad in the land

ANd turned them around. Players like Hart, Zabaleta Sagna Kompany Clichy Kolrov Navas Yaya Mangala are these the better squad that Pep inherited

I will look at the miss again. But I think you, shearer and Henry are being unfair to Lukaku concerning that chance.

This is the handicap about Fraudiola's spending.I was expecting him to do his 'magic' on City players from the academy but it seems baba needed machinery

Acquisition and Manifestation are two different things so he also deserves some praise

The Lineup seems OK for attacking Footie! I guess it's a 4 - 3 - 3 Formation; MMM in the Midfield - Matic and McTomminay playing behind Mata (10). Lingard as a RWF, Martial as a LWF and Lukaku as a ST.

Nah Mano o mano, City's had a better team which was evident from both team's performance in the league and Europe.

Tbh I could also say Jose inherited deadwoods like Young,Shaw,Valencia etc. If United were to release any of those aforementioned players, the only teams that'll be fighting for their signatures would be newly promoted or relegation threatened ones.

Look for the video that shows it from the angle in first screenshot below.

Not the second angle.

You would see that the keeper was already moving away from his tight post into the middle and Lukaku still shot into the middle. He didn’t try to direct it.

Na until game start we go know whether na attacking lineup or not.
it can be a defensive attacking lineup.
