Mehn I started coughing while reading your post. Although you might have your reasons. But make sure u don't quit from AAU MBBS until you have your admission letter to the other school you wish to apply. Because medicine is not that easy to get this days. For your question. YES UNN is fast. UDUS and Unimaid too are very fast 6 years an you are a doctor.

I haven't seen people that have a-level certificate being admitted to study medicine. have you?
The criteria I can remember are having a B.Sc in a related field of study or an A level result... And yes I've seen A level holders who got admission into medicine. #JUPEB

I don't know again o.
With b.sc, ANSU asked ME to get the discharge certificate before i could apply. UI asked a friend of mine to get the discharge cert too.
these happened this year.
i am not entirely sure, but it seems unn requires it also from candidates with b.sc.

Ooh ok bro if u say so, but a 500l med student maybe u will know him his name is bro wilson he said is 8yrs in AAU
And i called someone from UNN the guy said its exactly 6yrs in UNN

And another considering factor is the school fees in AAU which is 164k, minus forum due and the rest

Let me share my testimony too ,I wanted to keep calm but no it's just ruffling through my tummy .
I have been following this thread since 2015 ,then I read the pages of the group from 0 till date ,the active times of Dr Laguda ,drgboy ,lomaxx, mentorandfriend and so on .
All thanks to those pple for their unleaving words of motivation ,they somehow helped me till this day .
But c'mon I made it at last ,I have been admitted to study medicine and surgery in the university of Ilorin on Sunday!.
Cheers to the doctors ,old medical students and we the newbies of the prestigious medical family .
May we sought higher and higher in this profession ,the sky is our starting point .
And to the upcoming ones ,note these two quotes ......
"Motivation is what makes you start whereas habit and consistency is what keep you going"

yea...what can I say?..

Personally, I know of someone who left medical school in 400level to start another course; not because he failed but cos he was tired of it.
I have also seen people who did the same in other levels.
.
I think it's because of the frustration...especially when u look at it from the Unilorin medical school angle. there are lots of things here that can frustrate someone out of medical school if the person is not so careful.Lecturers.. exams.. etc
you just wake up sometimes, see the stress u r passing thru and feel u cld have gone into something else.
.
Well, the best way to avoid it is to be really determined...get encouragement from everything..
instead of bn frustrated, get motivated.
Med school is a battle field.. that's if all other med schools r like this. grin grin

if you were actually not packaged into the list, just do your normal dutiful thing, no wahala at all. I can categorically say that the battlefield of a thing is a myth or better still hype. You'll hear many Ilorin med student sing the battlefield song or the common incidence of withdrawal (either willingly or otherwise) because of the way the school admits.
Med school challenges are relatively same everywhere, but majority of those who chose med and earned the admission will definitely cope while most of those who they chose/got it for might break down along the line
