The Lagos state police command has released the mugshot of the lawyer and chorister who abused and assaulted her housemaid.
Here’s what the command wrote;

BEHOLD THE FACE OF THE FEMALE LAWYER WHO ALLEGEDLY ABUSED HER HOUSEMAID, A 15 YEAR OLD ABIGAIL OPEBIYI, LEAVING HER WITH A DEEP GASH ON THE FOREHEAD, BRUISED UPPER LIMBS(HANDS) AND INJURY MARKS ALL OVER HER BODY. THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, LAGOS STATE COMMAND, HAS ORDERED THE OFFICER IN CHARGE OF GENDER SECTION OF THE STATE COMMAND, SP. ADEJOKE COLE (MRS) TO DILIGENTLY INVESTIGATE THE CASE AND TAKE THE GIRL TO THE HOSPITAL FOR PROPER MEDICARE. THE SUSPECT WOULD BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEFEND HER ACTIONS IN A LAW COURT ON MONDAY 18/12/2017.

Nigerian police is the worst when compared to global standard. Even Zimbabwean police show professionalism in their operations compared to Nigerian Police Force

Though what she did was bad .. (I'm very sure she must've been seriously harassed and made to carry that profile board)..... But come to think of it, do suspects always have to carry that board written with chalk? Why can't our police learn to act professional by having a legible and concisely written suspect's profile (other than the board)?

Nobody will want to do crime if this is how they'd be honoured.

Many women are experts in abuse. This kind of a thing is very common in many homes and victims are usually house-girls, step children and relatives. The irony is that these same women will scream to high heavens if their husbands or partners reset them to default settings with slaps. They are also the ones shouting everywhere that "a man should never raise his hand against a woman". What an hypocritical set.
