Good morning, house. I still need a car for rental/hire purchase.

To avoid stories that touch, I can do a rental of 30k or 35k depending on the type of car and fuel consumption.

07033333974.

You still never need car.

CAN U MAINTAIN THE CAR? WHAT HAPPENS WHEN U NEED TO REPLACE THE TWO FRONT SHOCKS? WILL U MEET UP DELIVERY THAT WEEK? HOW WILL U MEET UP IF THE A/C COMPRESSOR NEEDS REPLACEMENT? HOW WILL U MEET U WHEN THE TOP GASKET NEEDS TO BE REPLACED? ON HIRE PURCHASE THE CAR OWNER HAS THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW THE CAR WHEN U DEFAULT UR WEEKLY PAYMENT!!! OK...IF THE CAR IS TOKUNBO THE OWNER WOULD HAVE SPENT ABOUT 2M TO BUY, REGISTER AND INSURANCE!!! OK... HOW MUCH WILL HE GIVE YOU THE CAR ON HIRE PURCHASE? 2.8M TO 3M... HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE U TO PAY BACK? 160K MONTHLY!!! IF U HAVE PAID 2M OUT OF 3M AND YOU DEFAULT THE OWNER CAN STILL COLLECT THE CAR... LETS SAY THE CAR IS NIGERIAN USED...DEATH TRAP....
I WONT ADVICE MY ENEMY TO TAKE A CAR ON HP....

This might as well be a load of bull...
1/ You own naija used fleets are no “death trap” cos you fixed all these (assuming that’s all true) but another person’s vehicle is a death trap IF it’s naija used

2/ IF truelly you have to change all those components and maybe in some cases do body work to upgrade the car, then perhaps it is arguable whether you are smarter than someone that adds a little token to your combined cost and choose to get a Toks outright.

3/ I find it quite interesting to see a driver/driver partner bluntly advice fellow drivers against taking up HP( better reward in the long run) irrespective of the T&Cs vs your your promise of relatively higher driver weekly earnings/commission which has a big *asterik on its long term sustainability going by the factors Ij play in the business environment in question.

1. there is a difference between a car bought Nigerian used and all the components related to making the uber business a success changed to brand New, and a car bought Nigerian used without the components changed, and given to a driver who has to deliver 40k a week and bear the cost of repairing a Nigerian used vehicle to his detriment.

2. That you bought a tokunbo vehicle doesnt doesn't make it uber ready. We received a tokunbo corolla this week with the suspension basically dead from rust. it shines outwardly, but the components will have to be changed sooner than later. Gazzuzz gave the tokunbo engine a lifespan of less than 4 months or there about. spending money on a tokunbo vehicle might not always be wise.

3. The modalities and the modus operandi of FLEETXPERT is unique. Our drivers come first. Every opinion from us, is from experience.

MOST TOKUNBO CARS (ABOUT 95%) SOLD IN NIGERIA ARE SALVAGED, FLOODED AND HIGH MILEAGE CARS SOLD BY INSURANCE COMPANIES IN NORTH AMERICA...SOME NIGERIAN USED ARE BETTER THAN TOKUNBO...
U CAN TEST HP, I ONLY ADVICED THE YOUNG MAN FROM EXPERIENCE... I HAVE BEEN INTO TRANSPORT BUSINESS BEFORE UBER/TAXIFY ENTERED NIGERIA, I HAVE GIVEN A CAR ON HP TOO... IT NEVER WORKED... OVER 15 OF MY FRIENDS ON UBER HAVE FAILED ON HP...THEY LOST ALOT OF MONEY...

Some naija used cars better than toks and same statement goes the other way round too.
I personally think it all balls down to the individual.
You know your strength and weakness, if your strength lies in patience, perseverance then HP isnt a bad one but you must ensure you take the car to a competent mechanic for diagnosis and also read carefully before signing the document because going contrary to a single statement in the T&C is all it takes to get the car from you.
In all, its your decision to make.

Will I have to sell both cars and get a minimum of how much on one single car on rentals?

I want to give it out and there are pple willing to take it on rentals.

How much should I charge them on rentals, that's my question.

My first car on uber was a 2007 camry v6.

I spent 9k on fuel daily. Any driver willing to take a v6 on rentals is just desperate. If you must go ahead with giving out a v6, take the car for a comprehensive scan and change all recommended componets.

check fuel system, suspension, and the cooling system.

then bear in mind that a v6 isnt isn't a corolla. If corolla drivers deliver btw 35k and 40k weekly, v6 drivers would deliver way less, because they spend way more on fuel.

same applies for the 2006 accord.
