been with this guy for years, but he doesn't want me to be part of his world openly bcoz m overweight. wen we spend time it has to be at my house coz he gets uncomfortable wen m at his. right nw he is upset coz wen I got festive leave it went to my parents home instead of inviting him to my house for a day or so for us to say goodbye to each other. but I couldn't even invite him coz my sister was around. n now he is ignoring my calls and texts. I m at crossroads. should I go or should I stay? is dis relationship worth it or its dead already? confused. scared to stay n scared to let go. I need advice guys |

If you have a problem with your weight then work on yourself, for yourself . Not for any man because nobody is worth that. Imagine a life of constantly battling your weight. My dear. but Gloria you sef, why would you leave for your parent's place w/o informing him beforehand? Most of us have dated a significant other we weren't too proud of showing off at some point, but it doesn't mean he's not into you. Some guys are just conscious of what people will say, you know sometimes we guys present this image of ourselves - so there is a certain kind of profile of a girl people expect us to be dating, you get?..my point is give him time, all you need is to connect/bond more. Call him and apologise ASAP. And please love yourself, if you would choose to loose some weight, then do it for YOU, not for some relationship. Op you are perfect the way you are. As long as you feel healthy, don't lose sleep over any bf who's no comfortable dating you. The guy your dating is not for you. The relationship is dead on arrival. Just move on. I have plumpy friends who got married to successful upwardly mobile guys who adore their shapes. Not all men prefer slim ladies. Break off from such toxic relationship and someonelse better Wil come your way. I repeat don't loose sleep over any man who can't accept your over weight shape. It's not worth it. |
