A lawmaker from Katsina state, has revealed his surprise after seeing the level of organization and discipline during his recent visit to Amman, Jordan. Hon. Abdullahi I. Mahuta, took to his social media page to share how he saw two cars patiently waiting for the traffic lights at 2.30 am despite being the only cars on the highway.

Abdullahi said he remembered Nigeria when he saw the cars waiting at the traffic.

Below is what he shared on Facebook;

It's 2:30 am here. I just looked through my window, then I saw these two cars waiting for the traffic lights to give them the green light. Then I remembered my country Nigeria and asked myself :

When will we get to this level of maturity and discipline?

Dear Aboki, Nigeria will get to that level of maturity and discipline the day your Northern fellows decides to allow the country develop and stop their evil deeds like terrorism (Fulani Herdsmen and Boko Haram) ...

..it is quite unlikely that Nigeria will attain a similar status in the near future with the current geo-political structure.
Just being realistic!

There will be maturity and discipline, when people in your position show good example.

Start first, when you stop using siren vans driven by reckless armed escorts

I obey traffic light anytime of the day...where will I be driving to by 2am? Maybe from night vigils but no traffic light in those routes...

If you are even waiting .others will cruise past you.

Let the change start from the top.....those in authorities when they are driving,do they obey the traffic light?

The just make noise with their siren and long queue of jeeps and Hilux ...driving rough and recklessly as if other road users are not human.

Re: Abdullahi Mahuta Shares His Jordan Trip Experience (Photos) by 9japrof(m): 11:43am On Dec 19, 2017
Idiot, in among your foreign trips, did you take time to ask how much their lawmakers earn and try to implement here in Nigeria?

Did you ask them weather their government officials make needless trips and squander forex in the process.

Would his long convoy obey a simple traffic warder in Nigeria, or would they even pound him join for lack of respect

The political elites are the problem, when they lead the change, the citizenry would follow.

Any other noise from them is hogwash
