Thanks for that while I wait for them. Please normally how much does the travel insurance cost, it's usually a 3 months insurance or Am I expected to do more than 3 months

i dont see anything wrong with that because am sure you will still need the health insurance in germany but i would have said check your school and know the type of insurance u need for enrolment and you can get that. This are just my thought

My admission letter says I can enrol either summer or winter 2018, within a given period of time for each and is valued for the whole year. Pls my question, can the embassy decide to delay my visa for summer knowing I can enrol by winter?

i dont think so since your summer enrolment also have closing date

Man, you can go for your interview without funding your account to the required amount...You just hav e to be able to fund before a certain date which the embassy will communicate to you if and when your visa is going to get approve....you don't need to cancel/defer ur appointment and admission just yet...

The day I was filling my Appointment booking details, I added my phone number where passport number should be, thanks to Jigba who advised me to contact them and also booked another appointment on my behalf for January 31st (looks too late though, aber was kann man tun? nichts), I contacted the embassy by mail, I was shocked to hear;

I don't think there's anything like appointment status. You've probably cancelled the appointment mistakenly through the link you clicked

Yaaay!!!, I got appointment for January 11th @Trojrobert I'm now following your steps. I dropped 31st of January, it's not available yet on the website, I'll advise y'all stay on queue for it.

Send them an email, they will reply with your appointment confirmation ticket if you booked the appointment properly. Find attached

Try to send the visa consulate section a mail via the contact link at the bottom of the embassy website page, you'll get a msg like this if your appointment is booked. I sent them a mail using this method yesterday morning and I got this response before the close of the day.

Update from the embassy as at yesterday from a friend's experience:

1. Visa fee - 29,000

2. Advised to fund after 3weeks of interview or get your application rejected.

P.S. For those doing panic appointment booking be guided accordingly.
