Hello Guys, Embassy date is coming soon. Do I have to purchase Student Health Insurance before Interview, because it's been asked if I have Student Health Insurance on the visa applications?

Wow... This is really a goldmine of information, I have really learnt a lot, many thanks to everyone that have been contributing.

I have sat for my GRE and would be taking the TOEFl by January, I am currently looking at USA and Australia but I have just decided to add Germany to the list inorder to widen my options, also due to the 'free' tuition that is obtainable in done schools and Germany's obvious expertise and commitment in my intended field (Renewable Energy, Energy Systems and Environmental Sustainability).

Please I still need some hands on reviews from the veterans:

1. how is hustling and schooling in Germany like, what kind of jobs could one easily get, would the pay suffice the person to foot necessary bills and live decently withouth calling home for assistance?

2. What's the fate of someone that the only German word he knows is Ozil (I am a madridsta not a gooner) as regards working?

3. Do we also have anyone in Flensburg University on this thread?

Thanks Fam

My admission letter says I can enrol either summer or winter 2018, within a given period of time for each and is valued for the whole year. Pls my question, can the embassy decide to delay my visa for summer knowing I can enrol by winter?

Please, Which School? Cos my Letters says the same @ TU ILMENAU

Hi. Getting a good job depends on your school education. But you can find small jobs here and there to support yourself.

Ozil just not a German word, but özil is a football player. The better you speak German, the easier life will be for you.

No you dont have to.

You only need Health insurance when you enter Germany.
OK, so the reply would be No on the form when asked?

preparing for visa appointment, I am based in the east and might only be able to get to the embassy on the very morning of my appointment date. Can i buy prepaid courier envelope from DHL, nipost here in Imo?
Must I buy at the embassy? This is to avoid looking for where to buy it when i arrive at the embassy on the morning of my appointment.

you can buy the courier envelope anywhere.

what time is your appointment at the embassy?
if its 7.am, itz advisable you get there by 6am to avoid getting bounced.
