Iwobi didn't reject Nigeria, same with Victor Moses.

Tammy Abraham's case is a serious one, he rejected and made it clear that Nigeria was never in his plan.

If we should accept him now , then his likes can go on and try their lucks in their country of birth and come back when they lose form.

Is that the meaning of leftover?

Funniest part was Siasia invited Tosin's elder brother
playing in one backwater league to come for the last Olympic he rejected us as well, somebody wey we dey try help em career. Please nobody should mention the adarabioyo boys here they don't care jack about Nigeria.

Kehinde is fully Nigerian, does not have a british passport yet.

Tosin Kehinde is really talented.. He is one player that we should tie down.. Fortunately, there is no competition with England yet.

I wish we had stand-by youth teams all year round..

U15 MVP in NFF/Zenith tournament

Please, we should note the names of some of these players and NFF should also have them documented, so that in two years, we will not see some unfamiliar faces.

This boy, that Aiyenugba's son, the NPFL U15 kid are some of the players we should expect to see for the next U17 set

Before some of you joined NL not to talk of starting this thread, some of us have been discussing this issue of APOTY every year.

I took part in every NL thread on APOTY in the last 10 years!

And before I discovered NL in 2007, I have been actively been discussing APOTY award since 1998, offline.

When it comes to Nigerian football, only very few folks here are as passionate as I am.

This is just being realistic, no Nigerian has deserved APOTY and not given.

The nearest was JJ vs Hadji in 1998 and JJ vs Eto'o in 2004, but still Hadji and Eto'o had a slight edge in the 2 years.

There is also a school of thought that believes Ghana's Kuffour deserved the 1999 award ahead of our own Kanu. I don't agree with that but it is worth mentioning that even in some of those controversial periods favoured Nigeria.

The earlier we realize that no one is sitting somewhere denying Nigerian players any award, the better.

If you do very well and shut down the world of football like Eto'o, Drogba, Yaya, Aubameyang etc, no one will deny you any award.

Let's face it, what we have been producing in the last 15 years are just average players. Produce world beaters like Yaya, Drogba, Eto'o, Aubameyang etc and see if you will no win it.
Even though I strongly desire our players to win this awards I find it hard to believe conspiracy theories that Nigerian players are the target of an anti - Nigerian CAF

I don't understand this need to pattern everything we do like Europeans.

That is why African football will keep languishing in the abyss of world football. We have no system, we have no method in place, we just copy whatever the Europeans do and the worst thing is, ours is always the sloppy version. Like we are waiting for Europe to give us an APOTY.

Why must the APOTY always emerge from specific European leagues? In fact, if you are not in the top division of England, Germany or Italy, your chances of winning APOTY is low. I can't even mention France and Spain because I can't remember the last time those leagues produced a Top 3.

We should have our own way like the South Americans do instead of always waiting for BBC to tell us who we'll give CAF APOTY, someone is even worried we'll be the butt of jokes in world football if we don't give the award to one of the white Endorsed candidates.

Is it not disgraceful that we are the only continent with two categories of APOTY? Europe-based and Africa based. What rubbish is that?

You had already answered this question in your earlier post now: Deep and incurable feeling of inferiority complex.
We seem to be under pressure all the time to tailor our ways to always align with the white even when it's not necessary.

Vicmo also did the same. It was after England ignored him he changed his mind to play for Nigeria.

Na Samson Siasia convinced him to commit to play for Nigeria.

Safari, if you don't believe me, you can believe one of the best footballers of all time - the El Nino himself - Fernando Torres. Listen to Torres:

"What Cristiano Ronaldo has done in the time of Messi says a lot about him," Torres told Radio MARCA.

"If he wasn't there, then Messi would have achieved double.

"I think that Messi is the best player in the world, although they are different players."

According to Torres, this is Messi's era .... the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo are just living in it!

'nuff said. Case close!

bro...I will really doubt their allegiance...if they should come play for us...just to partake in the world cup...what happen after the world cup....?

you see the treatment we got from Moses at some point even pinnick had to talk about it....

that's what you get...when this lad are begged to come play for us..

let us carry ourselves wit pride alittle and let this lad long for us also....we are not dearth of talents in this country though we been having management problems......

Which pride?

Even America wey get pride dey follow drag talents, how much more Nigeria.

Which is more important btw allegiance and winning laurels?

Vicmo has always delivered any time any day. He was the one who helped us to win the AFCON and even qualify for the WC. His that not all you wanted?

So, what is the problem if these players can add something to the team?

Only Kehinde has expressed some form of interest(think his coach said he'd pick us). Tosin has rejected us twice already.
Solanke is a no go and a total waste of time. That guy doesn't give a shit about naija
Lookman is probably 50/50. Still think he will wait till he's a bit older before he commits.
NFF will not go after Tammy again. That one na closed case.

There was a time when Solanke beckoned to play for Nigeria but Nigeria ignored him because he played in Eredivise.

Adarabioyo can be approached now because we can convince him we need a Defender for the WC mundial.

Lookman can be approached now too.

Are you sure about the above? There are a lot of players out there begging to be called up and u want us to continue chasing the Queen's boys, from Ryan sanusi to Cyril desser even the one in NEC forgotten his name are begging for attention.
I will advise we leave the Queen's boys let them show interest first, don't want that Tammy embarrassment again.

These are German machine, not Queen's boys.

All are welcome.

Tosin Adarabioyo - Manchester City

Dominic Solanke - Liverpool

Lookman Ademola - Everton

Kehinde Tosin - Manchester United

I think we have to forget the past and still approach Tammy Abraham. After all, Zaha also shuned Ghana before he latter turned out for them.

You say wetin?
Na so you hate us reach?

Come again please.
