Still hoping someone here answers the questions below

ebi12:
Please I need help as regards reference letter, I know the questions have been answered before but I am still not clear, please can anyone help to answer my questions below:
1. I have been able to get up to 3 years experience, however the first year was from my previous company which has closed down. I have reached out to the founder who has agreed to sign the reference letter for me. The question now is since I can’t use the company’s letter headed paper, how do I go about it so the letter is not questioned .

2. Must I sign the reference letter only after I have created an EE profile or the timing doesn’t matter.

3.Can anyone please explain this statement “It must have been paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation (NOC skill type 0, A or B)”.
Am asking because the job roles in the two companies I have worked is different.

Please I need answers as it’s important to get the maximum score for 3years and above. Thanks in advance.

Search it.. I personally contributed to the last question. The two-year work experience should be ur primary NOC which is used to ascertain ur eligibility but both count toward ur CRS score. Whether they are of same NOC or not, no problem. The second question, it can be signed and dated anytime.. Pre EE profile, while inside the pool or after getting ITA. For question one, the founder should have a letterhead no matter how dirty or go with plain sheets.

Hello,
I am only a baby fish in this pond but let me try.

1. Since the founder is writing a reference letter, it should be fine. Let him state it there that the company is no longer in existence and attach proof it was a real company. Also if you have your employment letter, payslips and any other proof please add it. Then he can put his business card if he has one. The letter can be on a plain paper but let it have contact information. Lastly, you should also add an LOE explaining that the company folded up.

2. I have read it here that someone used a letter she had gotten since 2014 so the date on it shouldn't matter since you no longer work there. I dunno if it's OK if the person can post date it for your peace of mind.

3. It means the work you are claiming points for must be one that you were paid, not a volunteer work, and it must have been full time(at least 40hours per week) or if it was part-time then adding all the hours you spent working there must equal 40hours per week x 52 which makes one year. i.e if you worked somewhere as a part-time teacher and only worked 3 days a week. You would need to have worked there like 3 years to claim one full year. The last part means you can't combine different NOCs to make your work experience. You can only pick one NOC eg you worked as a doctor for 1year -NOC A then a manager for 1year-NOC B you can't say you have 2years working experience. This is my interpretation

-Pls correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello Pros/Experienced,

A brother has more than 3years working experience with 1st degree and is expecting his 2nd degree (M.Sc) latest June, 2018. He is looking forward to enter Express Entry coming year. Now he needs clarification and help.

Can he claim more than 3years with his 2nd degree next year when entering the pool? Because he wants to evaluate his M.Sc so as to boost his score.

NB: With his 1degree his crs score is not more than 430 and looking at the recent cut-off for ITA's.

1. Read this post.

2. You can collect your reference letter(s) before entering the pool. However, for your current job, it is advisable that the reference letter shouldn't be more than three months old.

3. @Cochtrane answered the question in this post.

Hello people. I have been a silent follower since the early days of part 1 (2014). Well-done to everyone that has contributed to this thread. God bless you for all your effort

My hubby was not interested in relocating then suddenly this year August he said he wants a better life for me and the kids! I was over joyed and swung into action before he chances his mind cheesy

Part 3 will not pass me by in Jesus name. We have our IELTS and ECA, I am also sitting in the pool waiting for ITA (459).

My IELTS was a testimony! I had only 3 days of study using youtube because of work stress and I had 9,8,8,8 (First attempt) . I thought I was dreaming when I saw it. I had interference during my listening, my reading was confusing, my speaking I went off point. Yet God did it!

We are a family of 5, POF needed is 7.5m, as at October we had only 500k, infact hubby was refuaed a uk visa because of insufficient funds. Suddenly Nov 2nd, someone that was owing hubby since 2012 called and paid him 4million (The extra 1m he said was for interest)! POF is now 70% complete. Trusting God for the balance through sale of assets or gift deed from my dad. Every step has been God all the way!

My expectation shall not fall short in Jesus Name. I have always wanted a better life for myself and my family. This opportunity will not pass me by in Jesus Name! It will end in praise for me and for everyone who is trusting God.

If you desire this Canadian dream, do not relent, trust God through every step and it will come through for you.

I cannot wait to come back and testify for my PPR! Ground breaking speed will be my portion in Jesus name. I am in a job that I need to get out of immediately, God will come through for me!
wow wwwww wow Fanta baby you are truly fanta baby so happy for your family !!!! We are also joining the awaiting ita in a short while

My advise is that your brother should write IELTS and then evaluate his BSc degree so he can enter the pool ASAP. Who knows, draws might fall below 430 before June 2018, especially with this new tie-breaker rule.

If the scores don’t drop post completion of his MSc, he can thereafter evaluate his Masters degree and update his EE profile accordingly.

Cheers

First, get your your highest degree evaluated by WES or IAQS while that's still on, register for IELTS and start preparing for a LRWS 8777 target. After that u can come ask for the next step. All d best

In addition to @Threemg 's response ,endeavour to evaluate both the diploma and bsc to get points for two or more certificates which is higher than evaluating the b.sc alone.

Congratulations, GS and others with the new blessings of IT A and PPR.

Please, I wish someone more experienced about this FSW program to educate if it is required for my spouse who is not a PA to produce letters of employment/reference. Does it mean I will gain more point if she submits experience letters and declare her work experience like I (the Principal Applicant) do?

Thanks for your anticipated guidance.

Good day dear e-family,

I was sent a mail to upload some extra supporting documents to my CIC account with just a one week grace period. Unfortunately I was able to provide all other documents except for one (my tax clearance certificate) by the given deadline.

I attached a letter of explanation that it would be made available to me by my employer some days after the given deadline.
The problem now is there is no more provision to upload any other documents after I put up the others by the given deadline.

Please guys, what do you advice is the way forward in my situation as I wouldn't want to take any chances?

Thanks in anticipation for your kind responses.

Hello Sir, sorry to bother you much, but do you have any idea on what triggered the need for ADR on Tax Certificate?

I'm about to start processing my documents and while at it, I definitely know my former employer will be unable to provide a tax certificate for me.

I just want to be clear on the cause, and probably a way out if I'm faced with a similar issue.

Best wishes as your PPR draws closer.

Congratulations to all ITA recipients.

If you had read enough, you would have known enough.

You can still get into the pool, and get your POF completed with a gift deed post ITA.

Stop waiting. Jump now.

Even after ITA, you have 3 months to turn in your documents. A lot can happen in that frame
