The main cause of the problem is the recent price increase of brent crude.

It is impossible for markerters to import the product and still be able to sell at 145 naira.

This development therefore has made themto stop importing, leaving NNPC as the sole importer.

Unfortunately, them alone cannot meet the demand of the whole country

The government has never been sincere about the subsidy issue at all,their abracadabra just got busted n the resultant effect is the fuel scarcity.Buhari/APC have always try to be clever by half,now it appears their actions are now on a boomerang mode,what a life!.

Food and fuel are related to each other. When Nigeria decided to increase food production that caused the increase in fuel prices because trucks that deliver food. Tractors and machinery that require fuel are in this equation. Demand always causes price increases in any commodity. The Kings like Alaafin Sango, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyemi III, wants to return Yorubaland to its breadbasket days. The Niger river area was once a bread basket and now people are starving, and have been since the turmoil of slavery and colonial era. You must begin to use horses and modern wagons to deliver food to cities and towns. Create large greenhouses and cassava plants near the cities or within them so as to shorten the distance for this ancient transportation system. Don't depend upon fossil fuel for not only is it bad for the environment but it can be costly and expensive ruining agricultural programs its supposed to benefit.

Solutions: Lower the price on all goods and services not just one commodity like food. That's total restructuring. When you pull on the economic web the whole thing moves. You can't touch one area without it affecting the others. That's the intricate part about economics.

no matter how far lies have travelled, its a matter of time before truth catches up with it, the day of reckoning has come but they won't accept easily until they can't find anyone to blame again.

The rich are simply collecting money from the poor to use and spend for the xmas. expected.... cause scarcity by hoarding fuel, hike fuel price, the poor and middle class pay, use the money for the yuletide
