The effect of the Broom in the spiritual realm is strong...fire burn the brooms in Jesus name, amen. They are just blind supporters or too shy to say the truth. |

kitaatita:Abeg carry your help somewhere else , stop baiting people with threats of help ..Even though Buhari has prove twice he is the worst president ever in our history you have the temerity to come here and say he is honest . If he was honest would he have overthrown Shagari in a needless coup? If he was Honest would he keep lying about his certificate? If he was honest would he vie for a job he is obviously not qualified for ? If he was honest wouldnt he be fair in all his decisions ? Abeg Buhari shares nothing in common with the word honesty . |

Duru009:Shame is killing them. I hope Nigerians that voted for this wicked bunch of incompetent goons are enjoying the suffering. An English proverb says "as you make your bed, so you lie on it" Those that tried to escape the bed they made in Nigeria are lying in the one in Libya. Na so life be |

jaxxy:You do not like the way your child is fairing in maths so you boot out his maths lesson teacher who is a drunk and replace him with a maths teacher , one who is a very principled man. The New teacher starts teaching your son by saying 1 + 1=7. Your son points out that he is wrong. You too point out that is wrong but the man is adamant that he is right and he is sticking to his guns?. Will you retain him believing that with time your son maths will improve or will you sack him on the spot? Buharis incompetence was obvious from the word go. His fixing of the exchange at 197 to $1 with total disregard of.market forces led to severe dollar shortages that crippled companies and plunged the economy into a needless recession, the first In 25years. Soludo,Utomi and Saudi Lamido especially were r relentless in condemning this forex policy. Sanusi said this policy has not worked anywhere in the world. Buhari remained adamant despite the meltdown all around him. i wrote off the economy once he did that. His irrefutable integrity wont make 1+ 1=7 neither will bogus economic policies revive the economy. Imagine the horror of a finance minister who wants to spend her way out of a stagflation? Utter nonsense. |

Adminisher:You think integrity and his principled nature equals managerial competence. If it did, Julius Nyerere and Kenneth Kaunda would not have left their economies destitute, that of Tanzania and Zambia respectively. Buhari's fixing of the exchange rate at 197 to a dollar without regard to market led to chronic dollar shortages that crippled companies that led to the first recession in 25years. Sanusi Lamido, a Buhari supporter was unrelenting in condemning this abomination masquerading as a forex policy. I am apolitical but to be honest with you, if I was to pick in 2015, it would have been Buhari. |

What's bc wrong with people here........ please one person should give me 10 lists of what he will do if he was president to make Nigeria better. If not....shut the hell up and wait for his tenure to finish then you can vote for who you want..... your insults affect nothing |

I am just taken aback by one fact ....after your amazing write up you missed something.....if you actually know the meaning of "economic recession" you will know it doesn't take 1 or 2 years to create economic recession for a large country such as Nigeria grandstar: |
| Re: Why Is No One Blaming Buhari For The Fuel Scarcity? by grandstar(m): 10:21pm On Dec 23, 2017 |
fadil12:Country's economic fortunes can change rapidly. A year at times may even be too long. A collapse in the price of your major exports, a massive increase in the interest rates on your external debts, a huge rise in the price of a major import can easily start a crisis. Truth is, the economy was already going down once the price of oil tumbled but Buhari's unsound economic policies crushed the economy. If he simply maintained the flexible exchange rate policy he met, growth would simply have fallen for. 7% to 3 or perhaps 2% with a rebound d to like 4 or 5% the following the following year. A flexible exchange rate enables economies to bend when there's a crisis. Fixed exchange rates mks them break. Countries globally have fled from fixed exchange rates or strong pegs to other currency because of the mayhem they cause. |

| Re: Why Is No One Blaming Buhari For The Fuel Scarcity? by grandstar(m): 11:01pm On Dec 23, 2017 |
BluntBoy:He is 100% to blame. Kachikwu advised him to deregulate the price and let it be determined by market forces. He had the best opportunity to do this when the price of crude oil collapsed towards the $30 a barrel figure. He also had the goodwill of Nigerians who would have backed as they lived his integrity and pious nature. He bluntly refused to heed the advise. As long as the price of oil is dictated by government fiat and not market forces, irregularity in supply will be ever constant. Jonathan tried to end the subsidy regime and deregulate the price but was frustrated by the populace. At least he tried to do the right thing though unpopular |

ionsman:There was. That was the worst scarcity the country had ever faced. Trust me, everything was at a standstill. That's when the price of oil was adjusted to 146 or so. |

shekauvsbuhari:Stop being tribalistic and be objective instead? Was it not the same Yoruba's who voted enmasse for Jonathan in 2011 despite Tinubu's urging them to vote for Ribadu? Jonathan's subsequent weak performance especially the high level of corruption and the inept handling of Boko Haram insurgents turned them against him and Buharis Irrefutable honesty worked in his favour in 2015. Buhari's present disastrous performance has put them off. Yoruba's are swing voters. Be objective next time when committing. You probably vote based on tribal sentiment thinking everybody will do so. |

bigtt76:Busari sorry to say is 100% at fault. Kachikwu advised him to deregulate the price by allowing it determined by market. forces like diesel. He bluntly refused. Jonathan tried to deregulate but Nigerians fought against him to a standstill in 2012. As long as government keeps dictating the price and subsidising it, the issue of artificial scarcity will continue to haunt the country. He was also advised to sell off the refineries. Instead, he has shown preference in repairing those refineries. Kachikwu has said its cheaper to import than use petrol produced from those refineries. Instead he seeks to sink another $1bn into these scrap. |

grandstar:To me both Jonathan and buhari were bags of poo poo with different labels. I didnt vote for any of the two bcs they had nothing to offer from my own perspective. The good candidates are not voted for by the masses. The country only chooses from thieves. The smaller parties had better candidates but the people will only vote idiots bcs they come from big parties. |
