Roland17:To me that Raptors team is punching above their weight. If he could just evolve to a consistent 3pt shooter it would really improve his chances |

Top of the pile. Feels good to be home. Can't wait for "they are hurting parity in the league" chants. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 11:12am On Dec 23, 2017 |
Eruditor:Until Monday that is. But overall I want you to get that one seed. That will increase LBJs MVP chances. I also want you to win 75 games this year, that will make it all the more impressive when he sweeps you in the finals. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:00pm On Dec 23, 2017 |
AlderFadington:You wish. MVP when Harden is dropping back to back 50s. Just pray Curry does not play. He plays Issa blowout. He does not pray our stifling defence will do the business. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:12pm On Dec 23, 2017 |
Eruditor:So? The only thing harden has on LeBron is points. In the end it's only going to come down to which team has the better record. Lol! Curry, Cinnamon, Cardamom idgaf. You bums are about to get swallowed! We're going to beat you so bad KD will try to join us next summer. King MVP GOAT James + Minnesota Kevin Love + Flash Mob. You'll be lucky to be in it by the fourth. Mark me! |

This DeRozan dey ball abeg. If only these Raptors can get a Boogie or a Paul George. It's unfortunate that they are going to be the Milwaukee Bucks of the late 90's - early 2000's |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:07am On Dec 24, 2017 |
20 consecutive 3 point misses for the Warriors, shooting 11% from 3pt FG. I think they tried to force it. It did not happen tonight but there should have been another strategy outside shooting bricks beyond the arc. As for my Celtics, I am happy the return of Brown because he is an integral piece of how we play. We need more scoring from the bench and I am happy we did that tonight. Happy to see Kyrie and Big AL retire early in the night. |

A40:been saying it here consistently, his midrange his one of the best I have seen from a guard since Kobe. A little three pointer like Kobe and he becomes a legit threat from anywhere on the pitch. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 7:44am On Dec 24, 2017 |
Roland17:Nah!! Most of the 3s were even open. Guys weren't just hitting them. Bad night on the offensive end. Nuggets were held down to 90 something. We just couldn't find it going. They also played great defense. For a weird reason, we always find it tough playing Denver. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 8:45am On Dec 24, 2017 |
SmooshCHN:We already beat them at their home this season. The loss was a mental check-out; players did not care and it reflected in the glaring poor shooting even when it was close. KD should have been more aggressive going to the rim (only 17 shots attempted), but like I said, mentally, the players could not motivate themselves to go for it. They would probably use this as a lodestar to play the cabs on Monday. Not like that game even has much significance, but getting one over your rivals especially after such a poor offensive showing ahome always seems like a good trade off. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 8:55am On Dec 24, 2017 |
AlderFadington:Contortionist. Always contorting excuses. Oh, now it is about better record? No longer about better story? You try. Just imagine if Harden's Rockets had the better record over Brodie's OKC. I guess Harden would have been the MVP. I am surprised nobody is talking about who actually has the better and deeper team. But then again, nobody needs to ask it; the other guy is only in the MVP conversation so that the fully bearded guy won't be unanimous. As per your Cabs. LOL. Ok. Good luck with conceding 110+ points per game against a team that is barely letting 90+ get by them. The only reason this might be a game is because we are missing 2/3 starters. I may not even have time to laugh at you on Monday but just incase I don't, I trust you to do it for me. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 9:34am On Dec 24, 2017 |
Eruditor: SmooshCHN:As if we don't know that they were shook and still are. How do you expect them to shoot well when they're afraid of the L train that's going to run over them on monday? You think this will make the cavs take it easy on you? LOL! We're out for revenge and we smell blood. We're going to bludgeon the warriors so bad that W on their name will turn upside down to an M. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 9:40am On Dec 24, 2017 |
Eruditor:What do you mean by excuses? Whoever said that points is the only criteria for MVP voting? Keep lying to yourself, by all accounts and publications right now, king James is the favourite and this is without having a better record. The record will just seal it. You bums could barely scrape 80 points against the lowly nuggets and you think to question our form? LMAO! This is going to be light work! By the time we're done with you on Monday the Oracle arena will be up for sale! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 10:08am On Dec 24, 2017 |
AlderFadington:I thought you'll say something sane about our loss to the Nuggets. Of course I was wrong. There's a reason the NBA standings is there. And the Warriors being 1st seed isn't by accident just like the Cavs being 3rd. You win on Christmas, IDGAF, if we win, it doesn't explain anything about both teams meeting in the finals nor does it explain how Livingston posting up Isaiah Thomas is an issue for the Cavs. If i remember correctly, y'all won the last Christmas game at home by 1pt and raved about how Kyrie is Clutch and unguardable, in the finals he was 24% FG when guarded by Klay and y'all lost in 5. So does the christmas game matter to me? No!!! So, If you want to give logical analysis as to why your win on Christmas day is important, I'm all ears but not for these gibberish about Cavs having 'mercy'. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 11:43am On Dec 24, 2017 |
SmooshCHN:I'm sorry mate but the warriors aren't the one seed, not anymore. The cavs are the three seed because they've played fewer games. This is even with the bad start because of having to integrate 7 new players at the of the season. Oh and our replacement for kyrie who is supposed to be our second best player is still out, has been since the start of the season. You have curry on IT not Livingston. And if I remember correctly the last time you lot met IT destroyed him, or as IT put it "busted his ass". Better yet, put klay in him, I'd love to see how that works out ![]() As for Livingston KD and iggy, we have wade (yes, wade) Crowder and Jeff (who can guard four possibly five positions). The king can focus on dismantling you lot into pieces. Our team runs twelve men deep! We don't have scrubs on our bench anymore. After last year's Christmas fixture there were doubts, it was close. The warriors didn't fully gel, it was the cavs home court, the admittedly dubious calls and other imperfections. Well this time we will remove all doubt, like i said, it won't be close. This fixture is our chance at revenge, seeing as the warriors won't make the finals this year we don't want to hear excuses that we only won because you weren't there. We will destroy you in oakland and annihilate you in the land. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 1:45pm On Dec 24, 2017 |
AlderFadington:don't be so sure bro, earlier this season the Greek freak was the front runner for MVP.but down and along the season he came up short due to his team's record.this kind of awards don't get clear predictions until the tail end of the season.u never know who might come up and ball out or who might relapse. The beard last year during new year's eve dropped 57 points,16 rebounds and 17 assists against d Knicks. He led the MVP race all season along with Westbrook coming up at 2 , this continued until Westbrook secured d average of a triple double. This historical feat alone stole d MVP award from harden regardless of his team success. I don't think DAT is possible again this year, the sure determinant dis year are our stats and of course ur team's record.remember DAT dis was what gave curry d MVP in 2015 despite harden having way better stats. Don't conclude just yet |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:41pm On Dec 24, 2017 |
Here is my pragmatic take on Bron's MVP quest. If Lebron continues to average a triple double into the post season, especially with higher PPG, he would win the MVP. No one has any idea how much it annoys me to say this but it's the reality staring us in the face. The modern NBA is stat crazy. Performance, reward and other incentives are hinged on numbers. Bron saw this last year and is going to force the NBA to make a decision this year. The only ray of hope against his MVP bid is the return of IT. IT needs the ball to be effective and that means Bron's assist numbers would reduce and his number of touches going into the post season. However, this would largely depend on how long the Cavs keep IT on minutes restriction. After watching 3 of his recent games, I concluded Bron was stat padding and this only buttresses that opinion. He knows what the league has become and is going to push the limits. Harden deserves it in my opinion, however, we all know the NBA is Bron crazy. Has anyone wondered why the Cavs have not rested Bron considering how much minutes he has played thus far? Simple, because Bron is on the MVP hunt and even if IT returns I doubt he would be rested because he desperately wants that MVP. The narrative is already being built by mainstream media, basically trotting the fact that he is 33 and playing the best ball of his career so why not reward him with the MVP? If Bron and the Cavs find a way to finish first in the East and Bron continues with this triple double streak, The NBA and the coaches would reward him with the MVP. It's the sad reality of the modern NBA. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 7:16pm On Dec 24, 2017 |
AlderFadington:Well we will see, you said that before you got blown out 4 to 1, such humiliation. Now that your team has recovered from the slump, there would be no excuse, for getting your ass kicked again.Savor the moment. You might be able to guard 4 or 5 positions, but there are just some players you cannot guard. |
