To be honest the only thing I like abt the iPhone are podcasts. As long as I'm getting my podcasts fine, no marketing can make me upgrade to newer models. My samsung edge is a much more beautiful phone and less restrictive.

According to apple they delibratly slowed down the phones to preserve battery life.

Their stupid updates are very annoying. All of a sudden you run out of space, battery and the phone slows down. It is intentionally done to frustrate the consumer into buying a new phone. If this happens again with my new phone then I am porting to Android. The only issue is that apple provides a good level of security than android.

You probably used updated via OTA? Try restoring the os via iTunes and setup as new, you will need at least 2.5gb of data shaa..but it will bring back your phone to a much fluid experience..

Over The Air....this is when you download the update straight from the server into your phone..the other method is to download the update through iTunes for a full reinstalling of the entire iOS version...

I don’t think apple battery’s are meant to be replaced. So if you replace it, then you will definitely have issues. The only people that can successfully replace an apple battery is apple.

Apple carried out a remote diagnosis and allegedly the result says my battery is ‘consumed’ so I need to have it replaced for approx £79 as long as there are no other issues? I told them I will think about it.

As a user, I don't really care about the legal jargons going on in the company, what I CARE about, as a user, is that Apple could have at least told me they were going to throttle my iPhone 6 due to blah blah...

Having to discover that my phone's processing clock speed has been HALVED all of a sudden, would make anyone mad (or sad at least)

And now, I have to buy a new(er) iPhone, even when I haven't planned to. Isn't this Classic Capitalism at work here?
