There is also scarcity of fuel in Angola a predominantly Christian nation. Must be the Muslims within the nation sabotaging their Christmas. http://www.africanews.com/2017/12/23/anger-as-nigeria-angola-face-fuel-shortages-ahead-of-christmas/ |

This is simply lunatic rubbish. Are Muslims getting a special lower rate for fuel that Christians don't? Do they have special queues to buy that Christians are excluded from? Are the oil distributors only Muslims? Can anybody endorsing this idiocy mention even one way in which Muslims are any better off in getting fuel right now than Christians? If the answer to all of these questions is obviously "No", why then pointlessly inject religion into a simple economic matter of demand and mismatched supply? I won't even mention the mouth-breathers who think this an appropriate time for their usual "Yoruba Muslim" crap and their moronic images with exaggerated tribal marks - those ones are clearly nutcases beyond all hope ... As long as so many Nigerians insist on reducing all issues to tribal and religious matters, there is no hope of the country ever permanently resolving issues like this one. The long term solution to the perennial fuel shortages is to simply deregulate the petroleum sector, but how will that ever happen when everybody is busy arguing over irrelevant tribal and religious claptrap? |

brookz: It wasn't for today's profit but the profit of tomorrow. For them, this is the perfect opportunity to hold the government by the balls, such that they accede to their request which is an increase in pump price. It would be a psychological blow to the government of the day. The worst part is that the regular folks always suffer. |

nnachukz:Exactly! You spoke mind. These people will use religion to divert our attention from the real cause. Rather than face the real problem, they will bring Tribalism and religious sentiments into it. This has to stop! |

kaorama:Even during pdp era when you guys were 97% ers there was always fuel scarcity during xmas ...... until pmb made sure there was no longer crisis during xmas but children of hate are never happy with good things and never see anything good about reducing their suffering by making fuel available , to them since their hero lost election there shall be no peace so they became saboteurs not minding that they will suffer the most as far as they score a cheap political goal |

MONITZ:That is because the Muslim salah mostly falls during mid year and not end of the year . If it a deliberate attempt on Christian festival , why don't we have it on Easter Days which I think is more Christ like that the Christmas itself . Plus we have been having this same issue since the days of Obasanjo . Greedy oil marketers (Christian and Muslims) who wants to make inhumane profits |

omohayek:Issues of politicizing and tribalizing with religious undertones everything in Nigeria started the moment Gej lost election, the igbos are the one trying to destroy the country because they lost out of power. Its time yhe whole country stands up to them to stop all these nonsense. They are bad team players and very greedy |

Who is the present head of CAN? Can they just Keep Quiet? Since the last regime CAN has become so political, why can't you just help the nation rather than divide it further. |
