olasco18:hollier than thou, go 2 lagos and enquire how much these social venues pay as tax thereby contributing to their IGR. Being over religious above every other thing only brings about under development. |

AlderFadington:re-read your post, you'll see why you people are still backward. If they ban english, how will foreigners be able to communicate when doing business with an hausa man? If you come to my place and we speak to you in our dialet and you cannot understand, we immediately change to english. As regards your "drunkard" statement, go and check your record, you guys abuse codeine like there is no tomorrow. So you guys should keep deceiving yourselves. |

NORTHERNERS ARE THE MOST ACCOMMODATING AND GENEROUS PEOPLE IN NIGERIA I laugh when southerners attack north, because 80% of them have never been to the north, their attack is base on hatred, lies, speculations and rumours. Those that have been to the north and stayes behind have positive impression about the region. Northerners have strong belief of religion and culture, so if you want to leave in peace and harmony with them respect culture and religion and you will be accomodated more than you expect more than they can do to their brothers, because the see you as a visitor they wouldn't like you to go with bad impression, but if you attack and speak anyhow about them they retaliate immediately( this implies to all regions) Kano State has Igbos all over the 44 Local Governments operating one business or the other, these people have been there for many years. They have acquired so much wealth that they cannot move to anywhere even back to their region. It is in Kano that Igbo people have big businesses running billions of Naira, they own houses and plots of land, luxury cars and many more. Nothing like this has happened to a northerner in the southeast It is in Kano that Igbo people contest for political office and win elections, it is in Kano that Igbo people have acquired Degree in various Universities and polythecnics. Many of them who have big businesses with luxury cars to travel but will prefer public transport to their villages because they fear their village people who will do juju and end their lives if they discovered they have made it in life. Thanks to NYSC, many ex corpers(southerners) stay behind in Kano because of the huge opportunities and favourable condition to work and do business. I know a corper who came from Delta, he was devastated and his father has loosen hope when he was posted to the north. But when he came and saw everything with his eyes he was surprise and discovered he was fed with negatively abouth the north. Right now he own a computer school and making it BIG. And also partnered with NYSC offering SAED(Skill Acquisitions and Entrepreneurship Development) training in ICT in NYSC camp. The problem is those that have been to the north or stay in the north are not telling their brothers the truth of the matter and how profitable it is to stay in the north. Nay be they envious or what. Dont just sit and say bad things about a place you have never been to and conclude. Find time and visit. |

fuckboys:If you guys were so fantastic, why dont you replicate the same thing back home? I really hate getting into this type of convos, but you people are tiring. "We developed Lagos" - the same Lagos that houses 239 other Nigerian tribes- as though the remaining scores of tribes are useless pan-handlers. We developed Keno and P.H . . . We developed xyz . . . Only people who have not been to the East would be fooled with the silly boasts one reads here daily. |

Bagehot:Support the Biafra movement, and you'll never have to deal with an Igbo person again. Don't you think that'll be most ideal? No point forcing a group of people, that obviously do not like other Nigerians (at least not anymore), to remain in the country. I remember years ago, when the antagonism was one sided; people would make threads asking silly questions about Igbo people, and Igbo people would simply ignore them. Today, that's no longer the case, now you have Igbo people demeaning other Nigerians. It looks like Igbo folks are tired. |

| Re: Infrastructural Development In Kano (pics) by rdokoye: 7:45pm On Dec 25, 2017 |
deomelo: ![]() What does my comment have to do with development? This is purely a social issue, if he doesn't like Igbo people, then he should support the Biafra movement, because Biafra means no Igbo's in Nigeria; do you understand? Stop being a hypocrite, you spend all your time demeaning Igboland, but the moment Biafra is mentioned, you suddenly turn into a Nigerian patriot. You suffer from what's called Cognitive Dissonance...I say, make up your mind, either you are for or against. |
