My dear, I can't decide for you.
Look at the suggestions made available to you and from what you discussed with your agent.
Use it to form an opinion and make inform decision.
Visit the computer center and prepare a nice certificate for your self indicating that you have been working with this I.T company.

The certificate should show excellence in your work and good conduct as a person. Present this as an evidence that you have been working with the I.T company. With this you can re-apply for degree in I.T

Yes you can change from Degree in IT to degree in Nursing but that should be after 6 months of study or probably after your first semester. You can't change from degree to diploma.

Be ready to say goodbye to the previous tuition you paid because you will definitely pay another tuition for the proposed new course you will likely change to, which is nursing.

Thank you for taking your time. Really appreciated

Good morning house,
After a lil research i decided to narrow sydney and Melbourne to the two cities that will work best for me in terms of working to supplement my tuition fees.
I did a lot of research online and was leaning towards Melbourne because its cheaper compared to sydney and offer similar opportunities but my friend in sydney is doing well for himself too, although he complains that the house rent is very high yet he could afford it n still supplement school fees very comfortably.
I don't have a friend in Melbourne that i can really ask to confirm because the internet exaggerates most times about things.
My question is will Melbourne really offer me the same opportunities because the tuition for the school i want to apply for is cheaper in Melbourne compared to that of sydney. I don't want to inadvertently cause more problem on my head.
Please a kind reply will be nice.

Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide with the rest of the cities in Australia. You will do well.

One thing people should understand is that people look for were opportunities for their program will benefit them more, regardless of these cities mentioned above.
Some persons might decide to move to innner cities were they can get more points to apply for PR.

You will be fine in Melbourne so go on with your application.

Always try to read the thread thoroughly because some of this questions have been dealt with on several occasions by different people.

Good luck to you in Melbourne!.

pls I don't know if I should apply for an Msc then later switch to nursing (graduate entry) or I should apply direct to nursing (forfeiting) a year tuition ain't fun.
my question is, if I decide to go for an msc then later switch to nursing, wouldn't that spell issues with my visa..
secondly, if I apply for nursing (graduate entry), do I stand a chance since my first degree is a non medical subject (Animal Science)?

My dear, I do not understand at all from what you wrote
Which MSC are you applying first before switching over to nursing?.

Are you switching over after 6 months or first semester of your study or you will want to finish the MSC first before switching over to nursing?.

Applying for MSC in Nursing (Graduate Entry) will be difficult. You need a strong and convincing SOP to do the magic for you. Things are changing very fast as regards to admission in Australia in respect to first Degree Course.

If you decide to go for an MSC in xxxxx which you did not mention, been that you are in Australia already, I believe you can secure a switch over to graduate entry.

The question you will ask your self is wether you will switch over after your first semester and forfeit the initial deposit you paid and be ready to pay another school fees for the graduate entry which the average tuition is between 62 and 65 thousand Australian dollars and above for the two years duration.

Always look for Masters program that is two years duration in other to qualify for 2 years post graduate work permit or package course that will span the length of two years for qualification of PGWP.

https://www.studyinaustralia.gov.au/english/australian-education/education-system/transfer-process

Transfer institute or course

Add to study guide
There are a number of things to organise and check before you make the decision to change either your course of study or your institution. You should first ask your student support services on campus or other advisors for help and advice. And make sure that you first check your student visa requirements and ensure you follow the correct procedures to maintain your visa. Don’t assume that the advice you get from friends, fellow students or education agents is correct. And you should also make sure you keep a copy of your course cancellation and enrolment paperwork.

Remember, if you change your institution or course at any time you must contact the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) (opens in a new window) and provide an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) certificate from your new institution.

Changing your course

If you want to change to a new course at the same institution you are currently studying and at the same level of qualification, you do not need to apply for a new student visa unless your current visa is about to expire.

Changing your level of qualification

If you want to change your level of qualification, for example from a Diploma to a Bachelor Degree, you may need to apply for a new student visa because your visa subclass may change. You should visit the DIBP (opens in a new window) website to find out more information.

Changing your institution

If you are thinking of moving to a different institution you need to speak with your current institution for information on doing this. In most circumstances the new institution will be restricted from enrolling you if you have not completed 6 months of the main course of study (at your current institution) for which your visa was granted.

If you want to change institutions before completing the first six months of your main course of study you must contact your current institution for permission. You will require a letter of offer from the new institution in order to apply for a letter of release from your current institution.

OK... Here is it.

My dream is to get an Education in Canada.

I finished with a second class lower in Applied Geology 2014 (2.92 to be precise .. )

Age: would be 28 by next year.

I did my IELTS and made band of 7.0

I've applied for admission to Marine Institute New Foundland for Advance diploma in Water quality.

I've been offered Provisional Admission.

Now from all these I've been reading here, about getting study permit For Advance diploma after a BSc.. I am practically weak, I feel like giving up before even starting.

I practically sent mail to all the schools that offered Msc related to my course all turned me down. Loads of regret mails they all requested for a 2.1...

What do I do as I plan to submit my application in June... ? Has anyone been successful through this my type of scenario?

I've spent and I'm weak already...

This is study in Australia thread.

You are better off studying master in Canada than postgraduate or diploma course.

Unfortunately Canada schools only admit 2.1 directly to master.

My friend it's a gamble applying to study to study diploma or graduate diploma or graduate certificate in Canada, very low chance of getting visa.

Do not waste your chance. Research other better countries.

Good day guys. Pls I'm new on here. I recently applied to Victoria university. When I was applying, i was asked if I have been denied visa by any country. I ticked yes and it asked me to upload a refusal letter from the country and I didn't have the refusal letter anymore so I ticked no instead. But the truth is I've been denied by the U.S. I have submitted the application. I do not intend lying to the immigration or embassy when I apply for the visa tho. Do you think the school would send this information to the embassy before I apply for the visa? Pls whats your advice? Thanks in advance guys
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Albion05: 1:52pm On Dec 25, 2017
Do not complicate issues for yourself. To be sincere to you, you have already started lying about your Visa Denial with US.

If you don't have the refusal letter again or any other evidence you can lay your hand on to show , at least you can remember when your were refused US visa and the reason for the refusal.
Simply put down in the space provided when you were denied, the Country and the reason for the denial.

Countries like, US, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, UK and any other one you can think of share information together for security reasons and other internal home affairs for the interest of their country.

I urge you to be sincere enough with your denial to avoid been banned if they eventually find out on their own.

Thanks for the reply. It was in the application to the school and not the embassy. They said I must upload a refusal letter. Nothing like writing date and time or stuff like that. I am going to be sincere with the embassy when I'm asked.

Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Albion05: 4:21pm On Dec 25, 2017
Ok, communicate to them that you can't lay your hand on the refusal letter.
Are you applying on your own or you are using an Agent?.
School can not deny you admission because you were previously refused of visa....... So Communicate to them and explain it in writing to them.

Or you can keep calm and get the admission first but when applying to the Embassy, please do not make such mistake again. There is a column when applying for Visa application and you will be ask if you were once denied Visa before........... the answer is simple yes and you state in writing in the space provided, the Country and reason for the denial.

Do not feel bad on the reply you get. We always frowned at it and is for your good and the good of others.
On the long run this usually have negative response feedback on the applicant from our country when they review their immigration policy and assessment level of countries. "Peace".

From my own experience I was denied admission when they knew I was denied. And they said it was based on GTE grounds. And why they ask is cos if they know they don’t want the embassy to penalize them so I was told from an agent from a school. My advice do was best for your future but be sincere where you have to be.
