APL33:lol. The US is responsible for 22% of the UN funding, which includes UNICEF. The reason why the UN works is because the US keeps it running. Be grateful to the United States of America. It is not easy. |

Iamzik:127 stood for justice, if you like be from the moon, you are wrong, you are wrong. Isreal are no different from any nations of this world, and should be condemned if they over step their boundaries. babajero:So 127 countries of the world voted base on religion? SMH, don't have anything to say. |

Efewestern:You can rant online all you want. The reality on ground speak for itself. Let the clueless 127 countries dare us/isreal and see. Keep condemning but that is all you can do. Jerusalem is Israel, Israel is Jerusalem. Palestine that is not even a state is claiming capital. SMH |

cstr1001:Exactly. People living with HIV have easier access to ARVs through such medical aid and subsidies. Left to our govt, they'd be dropping dead like flies. |

Efewestern:it's like you don't read to understand. I already said the vote was of no effect. it is just a show of approval/disapproval. I also said the US don't care what other nations think about its decision(s) |
| Re: UN Vote: No Decision To Sanction Nigeria Yet - US Says by john650(m): 1:40pm On Dec 25, 2017 |
seunmsg:Who has US money helped anyway? Did the money put food on your table, cloth your children, pay for their school fees or build you a house in the city or village? The answer is no. The money probably helped combat the spread of aids and other communicable diseases or infant mortality. Most of the money goes back to US consultants hired to do the job or phamarceutical companies who supply the drugs. In essence, the money goes back to US citizens and firms. So no loss there. |

Doyin2:You have a problem . The US owes you nothing. They give you aid because they are wealthy enough. Nigeria is not their constituency. Buhari is our president. He has no right to marginalize anybody in Nigeria. But buhari supporters get brain at all? |
| Re: UN Vote: No Decision To Sanction Nigeria Yet - US Says by cstr1001: 1:46pm On Dec 25, 2017 |
john650:smh. Ignorance and more ignorance. You think your Govt can sustain Hiv treatments in Nigeria especially given how delicate it is with regards to consistency in supply? I no blame you na. Only those whose lives depend on it know where the shoe pinches. |

nnachukz:There comes a time to take a stand, my brother. We can't be pussy-footing our way around life like we've been doing in Nigeria. You and I know that US aid doesn't do jack for the common man. Its for the big boys. The trickle down effect to the ones its actually meant for, is minimal at best. Those of you supporting trump' s idiotic and tyrannical actions have your own agendas that have nothing to do with the good of Nigeria and Nigerians. Y'all know that. And it's a shame for you to think it's okay for someone who doesn't give a rat's arse about nigerians or nigeria, to blackmail and threaten our country. No matter how bad things are. |
| Re: UN Vote: No Decision To Sanction Nigeria Yet - US Says by cstr1001: 2:29pm On Dec 25, 2017 |
Arielle:They don't give a rat ass and yet they give you aid of over 600 million dollars every year. Palestinians and the arab league give a rat as$ about Nigerians, right? And yet Nigerians are being sold in Libya. Funny people. |

Doyin2:I have neither the time nor patience to educate you on the history and realities of the US' place within the UN. I also won't enlighten you on the difference between a binding resolution and an opinion poll. I'm pretty sure the person I responded to in my earlier comment fully understood that I was demonstrating to him the weakness of the premise on which his own comment was based. The mode of communication employed is obviously beyond your ken. Meanwhile, the new "more action, less talk" US has already begun to set the tone for fiscal responsibility in the UN https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/nypost.com/2017/12/25/nikki-haley-negotiates-285m-cut-in-bloated-un-budget/amp/, while the butthurt sticklers to cheap, empty talk continue to whine. |

Buhari really failed in this vote issue, we would have stand with the US, at least we are expecting to get some fighter jets from them so why vote against them, support them and have the backing of the Us and Isreal those are great allies mess the Palestinian's |

cstr1001:The reason why the UN works is because the US keeps UN running? If that were true they wouldn't need a resolution. There is no king in world politics, Obama understood this. BT trump wants to test the waters. thinking Other world powers won't swim |

enough of this US threat. .....what do trump think he is safe...making the world an unsafe place for everyone...all this threat, cutting financial aids, immigration policy, and all this nonsense must stop this 2017! |
