Honestly i don't know why guys were so hard on this young man Iheanacho, very unfair cos the criticism is damn too much and we need to be fair to balance things up and for those supporting the young man let take it cool cos we don't need to tag anyond as hater of super eagles coz of Iheanacho.

As icon4s said he was seeing Anti vs Pro Nacho which made the discussion watery and not educative for guys to learn from,Iheanacho will not be the first footballer to be in this position and the only way out is to continue working hard to make the team or look for another club that would give him playing time, nothing more.

Telling us he made the mistake going to Leicester is after thought cos 95% of us here were of the opinions that he should move from manchester city except thegoodjoe. So why castigating the young man,do you guys think the young man is happy at the situation coz some think he is contented with the situation, forgetting he can't force himself out due to his contractual obligation with the club. The only way out is to good talk with the coach on the way out.

Truly not having regular games will have negatives effect on his game at the WC cos this what affected Mikel at last WC and Nigeria suffered for it.It is not good having two great players in Iheanacho and Musa not making match day squad.

What i expect here are suggestions on the way out not trying to score point on Iheanacho challenges cos the young is down at the moment.I thought a lot should remember how we are always depress when we have issues in our working place or schools,so the young man need our support and even all the super eagles players facing similar situation.
In the EFL Carabao Cup, when Nacho played, I saw improvement in his game. He looked menacing, hungry, faster and pressed with Stamina. Not burying the chance that fell to Nacho and losing the ball in midfield gave room for massive criticism. Apart from that, what I was looking for in Nacho's game, I saw. Showing improvement is what is most important at this moment.

Crying over game time or how I wish I stayed at City will not help in any way. What we need is for Nacho to keep working hard. Sweating it out on the training pitch and giving his all when in scrimmage games.

That is the immediate solution to the lack of game time issue. A January move might come out rushed and also create a defeatist mentality. As soon as he hits a stumbling block, he jumps ship.

KC has scored one goal this season in the cup.

Tega Abrahams who has been much aligned has scored 4 goals in the EPL and 1 in the cup.
I don't think so.

if FIFA should propose a rule that every footballer should play only for his country of birth,I will support it 100%..
That will make the NFF sit their ass up and put more effort in developing our league right from the grassroot.. And all these rubbish of trying to rob the over hyped British born players on our face will stop
Tell me the Nigerian British players that are over hyped because that's a very sweeping statement.

Ur question should be which game did Pelegrini play him as a lone striker?

Solanke is overrated and may not be better than KC after all
As a Liverpool associate I can tell you that Solanke bring more to the table as a striker than KC.

Being awarded the best player in the World U20 is not being over rated. He has some quality strikers in is way, his time will come.

Oh! Where he normally scores. Carling cup. grin

His one is still too many for Solanke who has none. I am not shading the boy but the way u have been talking I would have expected him to be reaching double digits by now.

His worth will be revealed at the world cup. For those of you slating iheanacho, please take a moment and also reflect on the fate of Islam slimani also at Leicester, who is also going through the Same thing iheanacho is going through. This is a player who was banging in goals for fun in Portugal last season.
Puel likes aggressive hard working players, unfortunately iheanacho does not fit that profile.
Let's also understand that the EPL is the most competitive physically tasking and intense league in the World.

Slimani will join the long list of players who didn't make the cut in the EPL after making waves in other top leagues.

The EPL is not for every player.

pinnick still don't mind try still work things out should he change his mind...but with that statement...not even the sport minister can help him.....

he better fist his eyes on England...because thats the country he has now...
My man forget about this young dude and let us move on,he has his life to live and nobody can dictate to the young man on what to do.He is not the first one to refuse Nigeria and he will not be the last.

Justin and John Fashanu refused Nigeria, Gabriel Agbonlahon,Patrick owomoyela,Sidney Samuel, this QPR of a guy Chiedum Onuha snub Nigeria on a platter of gold with wide card for him to represent Nigeria at WC but he said NO except Carlton Cole which i felt for cos FIFA rule at that time denied him the opportunity to represent Nigeria.

I don't see anything wrong in Tammy rejection cos he didn't belong here and we have many of them who are of Nigeria parentage representing different countries or what do you want to say of Gloria Alozie a full Nigeria athlete that switched to Spain or Francis Obikwelu that switched to Portugal.Samuel Peter did it for US in boxing, now Anthony Joshua for UK or you forget homegrown Hakeem the dream Olajuwon that represented US at Olympics.

If you watch last World Athletes Championship,my man you pity Nigeria, see Nigerians representing United Kingdom,United State,Canada which we have accepted as norms but Bahrain,Qatar, funny enough Japan, saw one Sanusi Brown representing Japan, just to tell you we need to go back to basic and start developing our grassroots sports so that we wouldn't be bother if any player reject us.

If u are really passionate about the national team like u claim, u won't stop so low to be comparing somebody like Iheanacho that has scored 8 gaols in 14 games for d super eagles with Solanke that's still riding on his U-20 world cup glory....
I have watched both players live in youth games in senior games and in matches live as well as in training.

Side be Side as stand alone players Solanke brings a lot more to the table in the role of striker. In this regard he is ahead

The only thing I can say is I wonder how many goals Solanke could have scored if he had played 25 games for Nigeria. But we can never tell so it's not a fair comparison.

Consider the bold highlight, what are the attributes required to feel Nigerian pleasehuh

http://www.wilberforce.com.ng/2015/11/pellegrini-iheanacho-is-no10-not-no9_10.html

Manchester City's manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that Kelechi Iheanacho in not a striker.
Pellegrini made this known in his interview with Manchester Evening News when he explained reasons why he didn’t bring on Iheanacho for injured Wilfried Bony against Aston Villa at the Villa Park on Sunday.

“But he’s not a striker. Normally he plays behind the striker.”

I would have to disagree with you here. Solanke would definetly not have the same number of goals with Iheanacho. Solanke plays for Liverpool, a team that has scored more than 3 goals so many times this season and yet he has ZERO goals, atleast when Iheanacho was playing for City he had the goals to show for it. The hype on Solanke has to be reduced, the boy and Iheanacho are either equal or Iheanacho edges him

Van Dijk bid 'accepted'

The Telegraph reports Liverpool have had a staggering £75m big accepted for Virgil van Dijk. City had been linked with a move for the defender but the reports suggest he will move to Merseyside instead.

Wadafuq. I thought he was coming to City. Nice fight from Liverpool.
This news just made my day

Since lovren and klavan have decided not to improve their game despite their old age (really shameful, thought defenders get better as they age) hopefully the coming if Van Dijk would awaken them

Which kind yans be this? If the coach knew, then why did he pull him off? The pressure Naija was putting on them was increasing by the minute. They had to alter their formation to take out an attacker. At that time Bebeto was more rated than Ronaldo and they still had Bebeto on the pitch. So why we no chop 7. I could also say if we had Oliseh them for score only 1.
What was the score when Ronaldo came off?

Ronaldo was the best in world.

Thank you my brother

The intensity with which this Iheanacho case is being argued is unhealthy.

Do you know there will be people that will be wishing for Iheanacho not to score in any game just to prove a point and vice versa.

Iheanacho is our son but he is not the only Nigerian player in Europe. Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi have been getting plenty of playing time in the EPL yet we hardly discuss them. It is Iheanacho that has been on the bench and missing from match day squad back to back that is getting the headlines here.

Please let's thread softly on the Iheanacho case and move on.
