Kog45:In the EFL Carabao Cup, when Nacho played, I saw improvement in his game. He looked menacing, hungry, faster and pressed with Stamina. Not burying the chance that fell to Nacho and losing the ball in midfield gave room for massive criticism. Apart from that, what I was looking for in Nacho's game, I saw. Showing improvement is what is most important at this moment. Crying over game time or how I wish I stayed at City will not help in any way. What we need is for Nacho to keep working hard. Sweating it out on the training pitch and giving his all when in scrimmage games. That is the immediate solution to the lack of game time issue. A January move might come out rushed and also create a defeatist mentality. As soon as he hits a stumbling block, he jumps ship. |

darkelf:As a Liverpool associate I can tell you that Solanke bring more to the table as a striker than KC. Being awarded the best player in the World U20 is not being over rated. He has some quality strikers in is way, his time will come. |

Truidstar:Let's also understand that the EPL is the most competitive physically tasking and intense league in the World. Slimani will join the long list of players who didn't make the cut in the EPL after making waves in other top leagues. The EPL is not for every player. |

Humility017:My man forget about this young dude and let us move on,he has his life to live and nobody can dictate to the young man on what to do.He is not the first one to refuse Nigeria and he will not be the last. Justin and John Fashanu refused Nigeria, Gabriel Agbonlahon,Patrick owomoyela,Sidney Samuel, this QPR of a guy Chiedum Onuha snub Nigeria on a platter of gold with wide card for him to represent Nigeria at WC but he said NO except Carlton Cole which i felt for cos FIFA rule at that time denied him the opportunity to represent Nigeria. I don't see anything wrong in Tammy rejection cos he didn't belong here and we have many of them who are of Nigeria parentage representing different countries or what do you want to say of Gloria Alozie a full Nigeria athlete that switched to Spain or Francis Obikwelu that switched to Portugal.Samuel Peter did it for US in boxing, now Anthony Joshua for UK or you forget homegrown Hakeem the dream Olajuwon that represented US at Olympics. If you watch last World Athletes Championship,my man you pity Nigeria, see Nigerians representing United Kingdom,United State,Canada which we have accepted as norms but Bahrain,Qatar, funny enough Japan, saw one Sanusi Brown representing Japan, just to tell you we need to go back to basic and start developing our grassroots sports so that we wouldn't be bother if any player reject us. |

Danielnino00:I have watched both players live in youth games in senior games and in matches live as well as in training. Side be Side as stand alone players Solanke brings a lot more to the table in the role of striker. In this regard he is ahead The only thing I can say is I wonder how many goals Solanke could have scored if he had played 25 games for Nigeria. But we can never tell so it's not a fair comparison. Consider the bold highlight, what are the attributes required to feel Nigerian please ![]() |

goldfish80:http://www.wilberforce.com.ng/2015/11/pellegrini-iheanacho-is-no10-not-no9_10.html Manchester City's manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that Kelechi Iheanacho in not a striker. Pellegrini made this known in his interview with Manchester Evening News when he explained reasons why he didn’t bring on Iheanacho for injured Wilfried Bony against Aston Villa at the Villa Park on Sunday. “But he’s not a striker. Normally he plays behind the striker.” |

komekn:I would have to disagree with you here. Solanke would definetly not have the same number of goals with Iheanacho. Solanke plays for Liverpool, a team that has scored more than 3 goals so many times this season and yet he has ZERO goals, atleast when Iheanacho was playing for City he had the goals to show for it. The hype on Solanke has to be reduced, the boy and Iheanacho are either equal or Iheanacho edges him |

Kog45:Thank you my brother The intensity with which this Iheanacho case is being argued is unhealthy. Do you know there will be people that will be wishing for Iheanacho not to score in any game just to prove a point and vice versa. Iheanacho is our son but he is not the only Nigerian player in Europe. Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi have been getting plenty of playing time in the EPL yet we hardly discuss them. It is Iheanacho that has been on the bench and missing from match day squad back to back that is getting the headlines here. Please let's thread softly on the Iheanacho case and move on. |
