Nigeria government voted against US declaration on Jerusalem. A week later, US accepted the sale of 29-Tucano to the Nigeria government. It is safe to say Kanu Jews are Pigs. |

KanuJEWSarePIGS:but this us what you are getting A turbo prop airplane, aren't you ashamed of yourself? Or you heard Super and thought it was a Lockheed Martin F22 Raptor. This is scrap that the US no longer needs, they give it to you and take millions of $$$. You should be ashamed of yourself. Trump is a business man, he just increased the budget of the US armed forces, and that money will come from somewhere. Chai are you nigerians stupid or just pretending. Buhari should be condemned for this act.

Xbee007: My fact is in the tail end of the link provided. This is a contract that dates back to June 2016 for which we are only just getting the LOA. Just scroll down the link and you will be updated from the manufacturer's site. [Embraer EMB-314 Super Tucano (A-29) Trainer / Counter-Insurgency / Light Attack / Armed Reconnaissance Aircraft] is good, have a look at it! https://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/detail.asp?aircraft_id=718 June 2016: Nigeria has agreed to buy ex-U.S. Super Tucano aircraft. These will replace an aging stock of Alpha Jet advanced trainers. May 2017 - The Super Tucano has been selected by the USAF for a Light Attack Demonstation. October 2017 - The Philippines is making plans to acquire a fleet of six Super Tucanos. October 2017 - The USAF has announced that a pair of A-29 Super Tucano attack aircraft will deploy to Iraq for an operational demonstration under "Combat Dragon III". December 2017 - The Philippines government has committed to an order for six A-29 Super Tucanos from Embraer. These will begin deliveries sometime in 2019 and be used in various over-battlefield roles beyond Close-Air Support (CAS). |

stellx:Well the information on that website is wrong. Even BBC said, in their 2016 post, that Nigerian Super Tucano will come with a very basic configuration. Why did they say that? Because they all felt Nigeria doesn't deserve the best. It came as a shocker to them all when they learnt that the A-29 is coming with the full kit. It will field every avionics as the one sold to Afghanistan, USAF and Brazilian Airforce. Look, it seems your mind is all made up that Nigerian won't get the newly built aircrafts. I can't change your mind on that. But every fact point to the fact that they will be newly built. ***Caveat, the Super Tucano deal with Brazilian Airforce is different from that with US government. Nigeria proposed to buy three of the aircraft from Brazil storage which the US government blocked. However, with Trump's approval Nigeria can easily get from Brazil if we are still interested.***

Swisscoinng:During the war against us, the weapons that we used were mostly built by us, there were airplanes we converted from civilian use to military use, we refined our own fuel, the SAM we used to scare the Egyptian pilots away and later converted it to Surface to surface missile, which was very disastrous for your armies, then the Ojukwu bucket, list goes on and on, only that we lacked materials to service them as a result of the Blockade, any ways no problem, But my problem is that Nigerians after winning the war, instead of doing like the US did with Nazi engineers began to persecute them, they fled to the US who welcomed them and recruited them into the US army and they contributed to the growth of that country's army. Nigeria no get shame at all. |

Nigeria Voting against the US in the Jerusalem capital relocation can never i say again never withdraw it support for Nigeria in the fight against terrorism. Hope many will have a rethink on their conclusion that Trump will sanction Nigeria. Many support will still come in the days ahead. |

The US Air Force it'self bought 30 Super Tucano for their own use so, should the US also be ashamed of themselves too. How dumb can you people sound. Offensive platforms regardless of their capabilities are designed for specific offensive measures and the purpose for the Super Tucanos in Nigeria remains counter insurgency measures against Boko Haram.
You Igbos need to curb your bad bele because you end up sounding dumb and ignorant. |

baralatie:bro they might be fast but anything prop is kinda odd to me... a war machine of our present time should have at least evolved... planes used in they Hitler war though a marvelous invention had great flaws in contrast to speed... I don't see they reason why our own fighter jets should be so... from my view point it seems like they just want to dump their old cargos in our country. propellers are very delicate , if not made with proper materials could break in flight, due to heat expansion it could lead to a catastrophic crash(waste of oil cash)... though it is fuel efficient...we really need speed in warfare... I don't think our fighter jet could evade soviet missiles... well am not they one buying but Nigeria can afford better... Buhari I don't practically blame you... |

The Mautes terrorist group of Philippines knows nothing makes their journey to the "72 virgins" faster than an A29. Just pray you don't be at the receiving end of that warplane. |
