If you put in your intended length of stay on the airbnb site, you would get a cheaper deal because most host give monthly discounts and you can further negotiate with your host, when it's monthly. You will be surprised that you will get a fantastic deal.

All the best.

In d spirit of giving back here is my POE story. "Lagos. - Atlanta - Houston".

I flew Delta Airline @ 36wks 3days on 24th December, only went with fit to fly from my doctor..check in my bags & we took off 10:45pm 9ja time, I didn't eat dere food dey provided cos I bought Rice & chicken from d airport which I took along in d plan, landed in Atlanta 25th xmas day 5:30am Yankee time to join d line & was long waited till it got to my turn.

CBP: Merry xmas & ur Passport pls
Me: Merry xmas to u 2 d hand over my passport.
CBP: U ar Pregnant
Me: Yes
CBP: How old is ur Pregnancy
Me: 36wks
CBP: is dis ur first child
Me: Yes
CBP: How much cash do u Av with U
Me: $6k & $60 cash, av about $9k in my card beside dat my Dh is coming b4 my Edd
CBP: took me to sec & told one of CBP to examine me if he is okay with me.
Me: So I waited about 10mins & I was called
CBP: wat ar u going to Houston to do
Me: I said child birth & I notice d CBP was looking straight to my eyes directly so I did d same with a smile.
CBP: why do u want to birth in U.S
Me: d way he was looking @ me I notice he want make Odidi catch me lol but my confident speaks 4 it's self.
Me: U.S offer citizenship by birth, my child will b opportune 4 dual citizenship, U.S av good health care facilities & beside dat we can afford all expenses.
CBP: ooh okay, How much do u Av with u
Me: $6k & $60 cash, av $9k in my card, also my Dh will b joining b4 my EDD
CBP: he told me to place my finger @ d machine, took my finger print. Stamp me for 6months den put my PP in side a nylon took me to agric.
CBP agric: Wat food stuff do u Av in ur bags, as I was mentioning it den he cut me off asking if I av fresh meat & vegetable.
Me: No
CBP: you can go with ur bags, No bags where checked
Me: went straight to my connecting flight & landed Houston but when I went 4 my bag in Houston I notice my padlock in my travelling bags & Ghana must go was broken in fact dey tore d Ghana must go cos I taped it round @ Lagos airport but didn't mind till my host picked me & I got home checked my bags notin was missing but saw a letter from d immigration Houston airport put inside my bag dat dey searched it...imagine without my presents

All glory goes to God almighty & to all does who av contribute one way or d other...@Jenyjay I sight u.. God bless u all.

I've been so devastated as I had rehearsed over and over again how I was going to share my success story here. I was planning to travel 2nd week in February. Hubby thinks we should try again, this time just me and then himself and my son can apply afterwards.
I'm honestly confused. Don't know if I'd get a date ASAP. I've made a resolve to just have the baby here, but my family thinks I should try again.
So sorry for all the trouble and stress. Try and re-apply alone cos your visa is more important. And just incase if the VO still doesn't believe that all the financial statement you presented won't be able to fulfil all your family expense just like the first VO claimed, then you going alone will be another good step. If you can also avoid mentioning your famliy will be applying later, or they can cancel their own plan of reapplying, that will be fine. Incase if they think you all want to run.

No i dont, just need two or if there is anything life one and half room (a place for sister help)
I think you should look for One Bedroom (with parlour, there is always a soft and nice sofa in the parlour for a second person smiley it should be way cheaper than 3bedroom

Hey Ozycy, thanks a bunch. We've decided that I apply alone. Lol @ if the VO thinks we want to run away though...I'd try this last time, but I've zeroed my mind.

Happy New year in advance to everyone.
Please I need your advice. I applied alone this year in August for B2 visa but was refused. I stated that I was 6weeks pregnant and will be staying for 4month.I was ask if my prenancy was viable and I said No. I am trying to remember some of the questions
Right now I am no longer pregnant but will like to apply next year.My questions are
1.Can I apply when I am 3month pregnant? Note I have issues with retaining my pregnancy but I believe it will be different this time.
2.Can I change my accommodation to another one on my new D160 form?
3.Can I still act as my sponsor since my monthly income is 3times higher than my husband?
4.I am also partner in an car dealship business with my brother, there is a lot of transfer and sometimes my account will be empty. How do I defend that I can have access to cash?
5.How do I defend my career ties I am into Event planning , cake designing aside from car dealership?
Thanks

There is no special seat for pregnant women. It’s d same seat everyone has. Unless ur able to pick that seat where they give mothers with newborn.
For baby’s ticket it’s Easy, just call and add. If you use a card, you may be asked to present the card at check in counter.

Viable in lay man terms means that the baby is alive in your belly.

Saying that the baby is not viable means that the baby is otherwise...you get me?

This may be the reason for your denial.

From the questions you are asking, you need to do a lot more research on general visa application processes, not just for birthing visa.
