This is now really over hype.

A public proposal is all shades of wrong. It gives the partner (usually the girl) two choices:

Accept the proposal or humiliate the man in public.

Of course, the person will most likely say yes but one can never tell if the proposal was accepted in love and honesty; and not that they were boxed into a corner.

This rubbish must stop in 2017.

Nothing romantic in this trend. It just disturbs the take home good feeling after seeing a nice movie.

What happens to proposing quietly? The same woman you openly propose to and hit after you marry her or the one you will cheat on.

These guys should stop disturbing public peace with the excuse me everybody, and their knee bending.
