The appointments were ratified a long time ago. Probably, before the demise of any of the trio. But whoever was in custody of that list ought to have done a review for the purpose of updating same with relevant quarters

In as much the president is expected to take full responsibilities for anything that goes wrong in his administration, the fact remains he cannot monitor everywhere at the same time. I'm very sure majority of those on the list were recommended to him by chieftains and governors in his party and may not even know 95% of people in that list. Governing Nigeria is so complex that even if I and you were also chanced today to be the president, you will know its not easy to govern. The problem he has is that he is quick to approve without proper verification of people in that list.

hmm guess this list has been submitted long ago action was not just taken on them, it shows the laxity in the aides of the president , they were in a rush to release names rather than verify if those people still exist , these are little things that ought to be done before information is released to the press
