Nigga there is no nemesis here, forget that ideology they have been teaching you guys at BMC training....the now stale 16yrs of pdp slogan

What Nigeria needs is a modern technocrat....that is very intelligent, that rolls up his sleeves like ambode to solve problems and is a very good leader, it doesn't matter the party.....not the one waiting on oil price to go up.

A bad Carter democrat administration was good during Clinton administration...the same democrat party.
Your senses are complete. Thump up because you are talking about individual qualities and capabilities not party. A human being said that Tinubu made him vote for Buhari.

The recession of 1982...started when oil prices crashed in 1982....and it led to Shagari's govt trying to bring in austerity measures in 1983.

When Buhari took over on December 31, 1983...the situation was already bad...and the NPN govt had made things worse.

When IBB threw out Bubu in 1985....the situation got worse..until oil prices improved in 1990/91(Gulf oil windfall).

Bubu did not manage the crisis of the 1980's well, but he did try to improve domestic production...among other things. And he wasn't the cause...blame the NPN.
where youborn then? ie 1983
do you know the cost of oil when IBB was in power as to when PMB was in power?

good one OP. Saudi Arabic had over 500b dollars in foreign reserve during the oil boom. Saudi was able to defend it's economy with it's foreign reserve. Nigeria refused to save during the oil boom and there was nothing w would use to defend the economy when oil started selling at $40per barrel.

the recession was unavoidable!!!

1.Saudi had 720BN in its reserves at the start....

2.Nigeria did not save largely because we spent cash on subsidies, and corruption of course.

But in all honesty, do you think giving power back to those whose methods caused the problem is the way out?

What has changed with them to earn our trust?
Do you have sense? Tell me those who are in APC now! For your information, APC constitutes 80% if not more of former PDP goons. So tell me what changed?

Until Nigerians learn to vote for people and not a party, we'd continue being taken for a ride.

as if we dont know all these before we campaigned and waited in scorching sun to vote for buhari.

all we are asking for now is for him to atleast solve one problem

is it insecurity?
power,
fuel scarcity?

he has failed to solve a single problem since he came, he deserves nothing but to be kicked out again in 2019.

My history wasn't to exonerate Buhari.Just to point out that he inherited the problem from the very visionless NPN govt of the 80'S(GEJ even better pass those lots)

IMO .,,,,he should have been more realistic in both his first and second coming....told Nigerians we are broke, taken a loan to fix power infrastructure, transport infrastructure...with the aim of being an industrial nation in ten years time.

my brother, we all know the havoc terrorists caused on oil pipelines and and installations. for almost a year the president had to deal with that issue with oil price going as low as $28/barrel. Now crude oil have started picking up, and we are getting more revenue from diversification efforts, we can see some improvement with Nigeria gradually sliding our of recession. This is not about being a Buharist, we have to be fair. Our National reserves have started growing despite all the harsh conditions, things are gradually beginning to improve. by the end of 2018, much difference would have been notice. All i want now is for Baba to put an eagle eye on desperadoes like Atiku who will do anything to sabotage the government to grab power that he can never reach. Sai baba

Bros, you are saying a piece of bunkum. If as a major shareholder of a dying company and i hire you to resuscitate it, will you face the board and be giving them these bulshit excuse or would you just tender your resignation before they fire you?

The bullshit you wrote is exactly why Nigeria owned companies don't survive except ones managed by foreigners because we only know how to compare failure with failure.

Look at Nigeria as a dying company before buhari came in, he claimed he knew the problems of the company and can stop the slide and make it better. We did not beg him to come and save the country, he fought to lead to country after several attempts and you stand before us to create excuses for failure to the extent of bringing up past failure to exonerate his failure?
Do you think Nigeria is all about APC and PDP, wailers and Zombies? Is that what matters to you?
If I am your HR manager, I'll sack you immediately, you will be a weak link to any team because you don't even have a mindset to succeed.
I repeat, there is no excuse for failure and it doesn't matter if the people before you have failed.

The president, the vice, national leader, national chairman have never been PDP....!
This is politics, no way we wont have people from PDP in APC or vice versa

This kind of selective reasoning is not help us as Nigerians. We all know that if we are to pick and choose to justify our arguments, it can be said that the two most senior APC lawmakers are a product of PDP. The point is that it has nothing to do with the label of a party but the individuals. We most be honest to realise that we keep electing people from our societies not foreigners. Therefore , their behaviour is a reflection of a huge number of us in the society. You can’t have the good minority elected in leadership in Nigeria because evil always finds away to prevail.

APC only agenda b4 the election was to unseat PDP
OP you seem to know more than APC b4 they came into power. They had no clue of economic plans and went into trial by error and successfully plunged the ailing economy into total collapse with their cluelessness and blame games. God help the federal republic of Nigeria

Just as the average Nigerian lies during job interviews politicians also lie when they are campaigning ! You sell yourself the best way you can during a job interview same thing Buhari did !

Every sane Nigeria saw that we were already in a mess except your Buhari who promised to change everything. Except you want to blame Nigerians for trusting him. Was ur prdsident not aware of everything you highlighted before promising change?

Are Nigerians now wrong for expecting him to fulfill his promises?

Put in mind that the factors you listed were in place before he made his campaign promises. And most of his party men were in the last administration so they knew the state of the economy before lying to Nigerians. Infact if you can recall even Gej said Buhari will not be able to change anything immediately he (Gej) lost

All these nonsense propaganda will not help him. Its not too late he can still win the peoples heart if he sincerely want to.

By my logic, we should have followed the National Development Plans....from 1970-85 to the letter.

I.E....any leader who has no plan to make us an industrial exporter of industrial goods....is not the leader.

GEJ, nor PMB, nor any of our leaders since independence have been good leaders because they kept us on resource dependency.

Get that.....and get why i don't care for PDP, APC or any other party or group.

The monarch at amalgamation was George V.(1910-36)...the grandfather of the current monarch. His Queen Consort was Queen Mary.
