They have an entire DLC dedicated to the war in Angola - with multiple battles to run through.

$5-15 on Steam rights now - but be warned, you are gunna need a decent rig to run it nicely

Looks fvcking legit....reminds me of hearts of iron, but on a smaller scale and better graphic!!

Supreme ruler is more of a RTS geo-political game, but with a very decent military component although not as realistic and in depth as Hoi.

The irony..... There was literally no argument until you started one!!!

No one even mentioned the mokopa, before you brought it up!!

Nairaland did not give anybody power to choose my words for me, no rule says I cannot criticise Mokopa same way your RSA group criticizes ARA MRAP.

Stop telling lies, I NEVER started Tucano APKWS classified tech argument, @Saengine and somebody began the argument, later I joined. Your own arguments are not arguments, but my own comment is the only argument?

Keep deceiving yourself as if you dont know Patches is the number one derailer on this thread and never wants to agree when clearly proved wrong, he turns it to endless argument till thread catches fire, he then calls the moderators and tell lies to shift blame on someone else.

That source Imo is the best. Caesar 8.2 mn, Atmos 6.75 mn, Koalitsya 8.2 mn, G6 7.5 MN, G6 52 10.4 mn etc etc. It has prices FOR ALL WEAPONS SYSTEMS including SAMs,tactical missiles,UAVs and even ISRs.

This site contains information intended for the game NATIONS: Dawn of an Era. The equipment that is listed comes from various sources, such as 21C, Army Guide, Deagel.com, Military Today, and Wikipedia. The site will gradually be updated in the future and future expansions of the military equipment list might include infantry support weapons, ATGMs, anti-ship missiles, aircraft armament and various other systems.

The prices listed here function as a price guide that supersedes/overrides anything anyone has posted in their arms market or any other thread. Any military transfer of equipment will be done for the prices stated here. An exception to this general rule is made for the sale of second-hand equipment, which can be sold at whatever price the owner is willing to sell for, and for aid packages. It should however be noted that aid packages will require the approval of the mods/avs.

kill probability etc given by OEM r calculated under test conditions , in real world one will get surprised more often if one decides to take the same as the gospel truth grin

every weapon system has counters (which again has counters and again.............so forth , actually it is a game of ringa ringa roses grin ), it depends on activating the right one at the right time at the right place .

eg. laser guided systems can be defeated by laser beam dispersing aerosol mists wink

Yes, but many guided weapon manufacturers have official hit rate so user knows what to expect in war, some missiles as low as 60%.

Mokopa was not laser jammed when it missed easiest target in the world, gripen plus rooivalk combined computer guidance on a target set neatly like dining table food and mokopa launch pilots were told what and where target is so demo can impress Nigeria buyers at the show, yet mokopa still missed target under such super easy conditions, DENEL dare not come out boast of any hit rate like APKWS that is world beater at 93% kill probability.

If it was South Africa that achieves 93% score they wont tell you hit rate does not make any guided missile or rocket a leader in its class. These RSA guys just twist tales to have good sleep at night when their inflated ego balloon meets sharp needle.

If NAF Tucanos APKWS hi-tech is common knowledge as South Africans claim, why cant DENEL make mokopa technology score 93% hit rate? Hehehehe, Okokobioko nite of tausand laffs tongue tongue tongue

(He thinks firing a missile from one platform and feeding it targeting data from another platform, at max range, is easy)

The Makopa test firing in question was LOAL - High:

Prior to launch, target information must be supplied via the on-board sighting system or from an external source. After launch, the missile flies towards the target area, using the selected trajectory and fly-out method. During the terminal phase, the target must be illuminated by the on-board sighting system or a remote designator.

Makopa has a deviance of 0.3m at 10km - that means at 10km, it will hit within a 30cm circle of the target
http://weaponsystems.net/weaponsystem/HH06%20-%20Mokopa.html

Mokopa technolodgy is advanced enough, Mossad embarked on a 3 year long campaign to steal it

Footage contrasts with self-congratulatory pro-government media coverage of the attack, which praised police response Video clips circulating on social media on Saturday show the gunman who opened fire outside an Egyptian church and a nearby store owned by a Copt in an attack that killed at least nine people walking armed and unchallenged on a residential street for nearly 10 minutes. The gunman, the videos show, stops only occasionally to shoot at his pursuers before he is himself shot.

seriously ?

what about the proficiency of the user ?
what about the environmental/weather conditions ?
what about the battlefield tactics and counter tactics ?
what about counter measures ?
what about counter platform measures ?
what about denial of target data ?
etc
etc

every weapons OEM designated kill probability is calculated under test conditions and under optimal conditions.

if the conditions r favorable then expect results as given by OEM otherwise in real war all these OEM kill probability figures will go for a toss.

anyways believe what u want to believe , i have no problem with that.

Even the origional Valkiri should be enough for the paras, they could bring it in via TALO.

Fun fact: The Valkiri was made 127mm so that it could fire captured Soviet ammo, but at the same time, if the Angolans captured South African ammo - they would be unable to use it on their BM-21 Grad, because the Grade fires 122mm.

My,my,my! Imo,its not so much a Marine thing but an American thing; an insistence on the simple and easy in all ways and all things. Listen to the Lt.Gen himself:
"We made that decision to divest of it, and we're going to move that money into some other area, probably into the precision fires area," Walsh said. "So programs that we see as not as viable, this [program objective memorandum] development that we're doing right now is to really look at those areas critically and see what can we divest of to free money up to modernize."

Obviously he imagines the 70 mn$ platforms of his tac air with all their 100 k PGMs will always be available.
