@Xkoba seems the safest place to be now is 75 points and above.
That means having all 79 in PTE isn't negotiable.

75 seems to be the new 65.

The rate in which people are touchlighting their country is alarming, i believe they're trying to slow things down a bit.
January 14th, Victoria will resume fully, then there may be more options in destination & we may see an increase in the numbers of Invitation that wil be issued..

I have seen one of an Aussie ImmIgration sites promoting Canada migration, that is to tell you they needs some heat off them.
Just dont relent. Do all you have to do now, 1st of July may not be funny.

Happy new year all, pls does it mean all 75 pointers(ie all higher pointers) must be invited before any 60 pointer irrespective of the occupation ?

For me, i do not think so.

I think trastar has answered you already. Your university is the authority and you need to give each of your employers the employer template form and also support it with at least 3 months pay slip for each year.

Take your time to read all their requirements so you don't make any mistake, TRA won't ask you for further information before making their decision o.

Hello bro I just finished my NYSC but I'm still looking up for a job can I still go about haven an assessment with Tra since they require work experience..or what can you advice I should do ?
Thanks

What exactly do u do as "financing" is quite vague.
What is ur wife's bsc in?
Thanks Trastar for your response. I am into financing. Given out short term loans, financing of LPO's and portfolio management.
My wife holds a BSc in Mathematics and Economics.
Sincere appreciation.

I greet all my ogas in the house. Happy new year Kudos to all your good works.
Pls I have submitted my assessment with ACS waiting for their response. Pls I want to know how long it takes to reply ones EOI after assessment is out. My score is 60 I'm a computer science graduate with 7 years work experience in IT. Thanks

How did you arrive at 60 points? Chances for getting called with 60 points in ICT occupations is erm, Zero.
There are ppl with 70 points who are still waiting to get called. Also, that 7 years will get reduced by ACS.
Long story short, start looking for how to increase your points. Good luck

Don't get me wrong o, I did not mean that. I said that based on the context of your question. If you are assessing an occupation that requires a degree and they expect you to have work experience and you don't, that is automatic negative outcome. But that occupation we were talking about requires a diploma degree and you have a Bsc from UI, so I said you are overqualified already and they won't bother to assess your work experience since you would have met the requirement with your degree, however, if you have any experience at all, pls include it in your application even if it is 6 months or NYSC experience that is in that line.
That was why I advised you check the TRA sites for what you need. AUD$1,000 no be beans o.

Don't play with your money.

Yes I did.

Boss that part in the form for employers to fill that says please include copies of any business cards or other advertising with your application.
What do I do for that part?

Also should the wordings for the job task and duties be exactly the same or I should modify the wordings?

HND can only fetch you 10 points. MSCE certificate is also 10 points. its either u claim the point for the HND or the MCSE you can not claim both. ACS will always deduct your experience accordign to their "summary of criteria". In your case 5 or 6 years would be deducted depending on the occupation you want to nominate.

You might stand a better chance assessing with other assesing body if you can not get up to 75 points as almost all ACS occupations are competitive and on prorata.

paulooma:
Dear Senior,

I intend to do my assessment through ACS, I have HND in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering and I wish to combine it with my MCSE Certificate, Will it gained me 15 point on Education and also reduced the number of years to be deducted from work experience.

Need your advise Senior.

You are better off accessing as a hardware Technician with TRA. You will end up with 15 points for education if you go that route.
by the time ACS will reduce ur years of experience, u most likely won't have enough points to even compete with the ppl who have submitted ITA months before u and still waiting with ICT occupations.
Your HND is most likely going to be accessed as "Non ICT major" so definitely more than 6 years will be deducted from your years of experience if you use that..
However, hardware technician is only available on 489 visa.
Search this thread for "hardware technician" "TRA" "eladua". All the information you need to go that route can be found there. Good luck

There's a search button above.
Enter "valuer vetassess"
Select travel as topic.
You will see all the people who have assessed as valuer on this thread . Their posts. Their monikers and all the information they shared.
That's a faster way to get information since you have decided not to read the thread as advised.

You can't remark listening, you can only remark Speaking and Writing.

I don't really understand your point. Have they stopped EOR on listening? But I read on this platform that it's possible to remark the listening and one could be lucky to get an upgrade. Please educate me more. Thanks.

Thanks for your response.

Did it means that the same Occupation will be done on getting there or One can change the Occupation on getting to the country.

Dont you need to get in touch with a professor or a senior lecturer in your department to help you out at the Registrars office? That is the route some peeps have used(extra long legs to break protocols). You need to explain your plight, sort if you need to.You ought to have known transcript is required to prove you earned that degree claimed and started working on it even after sending your application/other docs..
Getting assigned a CO is a big deal and you are still on another CO contact.it will cause uncessary delay. How long have yu been on CO contact though?...please move fast ejor..

good luck
