All the sympathy we suppose get for Kayode Olanrewaju , Forgiveness don wash am away. Na wah O! The man that pep single handedly called and sent on loan to Girona is now looking for another loan elsewhere. So Nairalanders, what say ye to this?

Yeah! I purposely stirred the hornets nest in this one.

Not really he plays in defense. Ozil replaced Iwobi while Niles replace kolasinac.
oh right.

But the kid really impressed me though. I wish iwobi can learn to be defensive too.

I dont make excuses for any player who is underperforming at club level. Moses is arguably our jewel in the crown in this super eagles team but his performances of recent are a serious cause for concern. He made that right wing-bank position his last season because of his attacking ability and defensive alertness. I'm afraid he's been unable to overcome complacency of recent. No one should adduce his poor form to injuries and fatigue. Top players are known to be consistent. Sadly VicMo isn't by any stretch of an imagination

He is not performing. Nacho was performing when he got his first call up to SE. Nacho is still in the SE fold because he is performing in SE colors.

Tammy has to start performing. Rescind his decision to play for the 3 Lions publicly, and tender an apology for that red carpet talk, and wait after Russia as well.

oloriooko:
If Tammy desires to be part of SE i think he shpuld be welcomed at least he plays most times and not a constant bench warmer like Nacho.
Except Nacho moves out on loan this January then he's not fit to be in Russia and it will be a great injustice to other strikers scoring goals week in week out in other leagues. I wish Tammy can be bold to declare for Nigeria

Yes moses didn't have a great game..

Why?.. Because he was fatigued, he has played too many games just coming from injury, and he struggled, because he was against Sanchez and a young ,well rested maitnand Niles, him alone..

And about assist, did you know the first one on one , morata missed was a long pass up the field from Moses? A goal morata should have scored.. And earned moses an assist..

Let's learn to put things in perspective when talking about our players, yesterday was an average game for moses, let's move on..

It's not an issue..
I never trust that Italian coach...probably has been looking for way to set his fellow country man in Chelsea first 11...
this could be the perfect time....Moses really need to improve in his offensive skills...that's the only area zapacosta and even Alonso....have an edge over him

Leicester City Receive Offer For No-Nonsense Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi

Leicester City have received a concrete offer from an unnamed club who are interested in signing Wilfred Ndidi in the January transfer window.

The central midfielder has received rave reviews following a string of fine performances in the Premier League this season.

''There are many teams interested in signing Wilfred Ndidi, Leicester City have received one serious offer,'' a top source close to the Leicester City number 25 told allnigeriasoccer.com.

''He is not leaving Leicester in this window, he is enjoying himself at the club and happy there.''

Ndidi has played 11, 225 minutes in total since moving to Europe in 2015 from Nath Boys Academy, despite the fact he celebrated his 21st birthday three weeks ago.

He is expected to be named to Nigeria's World Cup roster and a move could be on the cards in the summer if he shines at the tournament in Russia.

Super Eagles Right Back Ebuehi Linked With Move To Norwich City

Published: January 04, 2018
Super Eagles Right Back Ebuehi Linked With Move To Norwich City
Super Eagles right back Tyronne Ebuehi is being linked with a move to EFL Championship side Norwich City, according to reports in the Dutch press.

Dutch journalist Jim van der Deijl of OmoroepWest claims Ebuehi was spotted in a hotel in Norwich and ADO Den Haag have refused to confirm if their defender is negotiating a contract with the Canaries.

Having said that, the Nigeria international comes off contract with the Eredivisie side on June 30, 2018, meaning he can start discussing with clubs now even without the approval of ADO Den Haag.

Ebuehi has a contract extension on the table from ADO Den Haag but has yet to commit his future to the club.

The 22-year-old has played 71 games for The Hague based cub, scoring one goal while providing three assists.

He is in the possession of a European Union passport and is free to represent an English club despite having only two caps for the Nigerian national team.

Injury boost for Watford as duo feature in behind-closed-doors game with QPR

Craig Cathcart and Isaac Success both got vital minutes under their belt this afternoon - and the Hornets won 2-1

Watford's injury woes appear to be easing as Craig Cathcart and Isaac Success both took part in a friendly against QPR this afternoon.

The behind-closed-doors game ended in a 2-1 victory for the Hornets, with Troy Deeney and Sebastian Prodl getting the goals, but the return to action of the duo is the most pleasing aspect for Marco Silva.

Cathcart played 75 minutes of the game, his first action since August, and revealed he has been back in full training for a week now.

Success, meanwhile, complete a full 90 minutes. The Nigerian missed two months with a knee injury before being named on the bench at Burnley and at Crystal Palace. But more problems with his knee meant he missed the Christmas period.

Oga, between 16th December and 3rd January Moses has played 6 games. Na machine e be? Please cut him some slack. The job of a wingback is not easy, bomb forward, track back to defend for close to 90 minutes every 2-3 days. Its not easy. Do well in some games and be minus 1 in some others is to be expected.

Ndidi on the other hand is unlikely to leave Leicester City anytime soon. Nigga is currently enjoying himself.

I just dey look all these forumites that want to die untop the guy head, over hyping the guy as if we dont know what he has to offer. Some even argued he deserve to win the APOTY...I don suffer, just because he is a danm Nigerian. Moses is not world class just a little above average!

Moses is a guy who believe he can dribble everybody on the pitch and score a breathtaking goal every single time, Conte monitored him and realize his end product is not that impressive and converted him to wing back and that experiment saved Moses's career. Now, they have a Zappaccosta, a terrific right back who can equally attack with great fluidity and his performances are beginning to expose Moses.

This same Moses becomes a hero of some sort when he plays for Nigeria. No, people make him a hero because we have nothing better but the most shocking and disturbing post I read here last year was that Moses deserve to win the APOTY....Get outa here! When Sala, Abua and Mane are there and posting terrific performances. If Moses wins the APOTY nobody will take us serious anymore. Moses is not what people try to sell here. I watch Moses when he plays for Nigeria, very careless and complacent but with few moments of brilliance we forget all his rubbish because Nigerians have poor memory just like they will vote buhari again then complain he is useless.

I am not saying Moses should sit on bench but place him where he belongs...See as they scatter the guy against Arsenal.

he isn't the only player to have featured consistently for chelsea within that period. Marcos Alonso has also been playing without even being substituted. Moses' poor form has been overshadowed by chelsea's good run of games. I monitor his stats when he plays. He hardly completes a dribble, 85% of his completed passes are backward, yet to score in the premier league for over 13 months, crosses so poorly. I could go on with his flaws. All I'm saying is that he needs to up his game. Zapa had a short cameo against stoke and his impact was felt. Moses failed to record a successful dribble against stoke left back, Ramadan. Niles was the better player yesterday in his flank. I fear for our world cup ambition if our players keep underperforming in their respective clubs

I hope you will still be able to stand on this point when things get better with moses, we are always too quick to judge our players, even the salas, abua and mane you mentioned have had their off days. As good as mane and abua is, senegal and Gabon are yet to win the afcon, I could as well say they are not brilliant enough if I come from that angle or can you give a good excuse on why senegal and Gabon are yet to win the afcon with such kind of players? Even with a Sala, Egypt could not beat cameroon to win afcon.

We have started getting emotional again just because a Nigerian player is not doing well presently, na wa o!

I fear for this guy' s attacking ability- whether it will grow, stagnate or reduce all because if this constant wing back role. Someone that is considered as our biggest gun in attack.
It's about sacrifice for some players, Moses attacking talent should not be in doubt to anyone following the SE, coz he's simply amazing with the GWG, but just as mikel made a sacrifice to achieve club success and trophy in detriment of his attacking talent.
That's the sacrifice he's making now to achieve success.
If you watch Chelsea you notice
1: in every game one of the two wing backs stays back more often allowing the other wing back freedom to go forward.
Moses is the strongest and fastest of the wing backs it only natural for conte to give the attacking freedom to the wing back who is less physical of a defensive presence Moses is the stronger defensive presence, so he has to sacrifice for team success.

Sir with due respect you have spoken and i need to make my own contribution to your comment which did not portrayed Moses as a good player and did not acknowledges his contribution to the success of Chelsea last season and Nigeria qualification to WC.Victor Moses deserves more than this cos he was highly influential to Chelsea as a team and just poor performance in two or three matches should not have warrant this slain comment.

During APOTY nomination i came out boldly to tell anyone who care to listen that Moses is not winning APOTY and when three players were shortlisted i came out and said Salla,Aubemeyang and Mane deserved it,this is to tell you some of us believe he has not done enough to merit it.

I have read some of your comments on Moses Victor even Ekong Troost which i quite agreed and i wasn't surprised cos you always saying it that he is not a team player due to his excessive dribbling but with your post it seems you don't rate him as a player.

I watched Arsenal match and i don't believe in giving excuses for bad performance but do we say Morata is a terrible player for poor performance yesterday against Arsenal, honestly you are too harsh in evaluating Moses.

It's normal for forumites to champion Moses for APOTY cos he had a great season and Conte will always remember him as one of the players that made his formation unique or what do you want to say about his contributions to WC qualification, scoring three goals, winning MOTM and making CAF team in every WC match, he deserves little respect.

I do not understand what you mean by we don't have something better, mind you we beat Zambia without Moses in Ndola, beating Argentina without Moses but Argentina couldn't beat Nigeria twice without Messi, this is to tell you the team is solid.

Victor Moses remain one of the best Nigeria player and his positive contribution to the team outweigh his negative and remain the best Nigeria player during WC qualification and Rohr rate him highly.
