I think it is high time we heard people's experience at the embassy for visa Interview. I am so sure we would have Bad like 20 of our members that must have gone for Interview (Fact). Please, share your experience with US. Like -what Were the questions asked? What was the outcome of the Interview? What likely do u think might triger the outcome.

We all know that Interview is the most vital part of all.

It is 50/50 My brother because lots of question will asked why he/she has decided to run another Masters. So he/she need valid and reasonable point to convince them at the Interview.

Note: it is never to Bad to run another Masters. Just get your facts in point to let them know the reasons

You can mail the school and asked them to correct the typo and send you another copy.

About booking visa appointment, just go to the online link and try booking. Its difficult to get dates, so you have to keep trying.

If they don’t respond to your mail to correct the typo on time, you can go ahead with the copy you have. I don’t think it will be much of an issue.

Meanwhile, when did you apply for this admission, and Is it for summer or winter semester?

Its for summer. Buh I have the whole of march and April to register. The mistake isn't from the school, its from the consulate in Germany. Its my Sponsorship obligation letter

It depends on the level of the typo. If it just a letter or 3rd name is not included, you might be able to use it. However, get in touch with your sponsor to take it back to the foreigner's office for correction. Shalom

I did that. He said he informed them and he assured me it didn't matter. My surname, a letter was ommited. Buh I'm still worried.

Your sponsor has to take it back to his/her auslanderbehorde to do the correction. And at point of correction, they would sign and stamp on that part the mistake is. Every information on the letter is important.

This virtually has nothing to do with ur school.

Abi ooo.. I knew he thought u were talking about admission. It is so certain they will offer you admission but the visa be the Main thing.

It doesn't matter, as long as you can explain to the the Visa officer why you're going for another Masters program.
I know someone currently doing a second Msc program in Germany(after an Msc degree in Nigeria) and it wasn't a problem during his visa interview.

Pls I have a question. I applied for 2018 winter session and discussed with the person I want to write sponsorship letter for me this Christmas period. She is German citizen but was posted by her company to a branch in US & will be relocating this January. She tried to get it done b4 travelling to US on the 6th but was told it can only be done 6 months to the time of my visa at the earliest otherwise it becomes invalid.

Will her status be a problem when she decides to do it sometime later this year, since she promised to get it done once she has a business trip or something else that brings her to Germany b4 my visa interview?
NB: She is still a German citizen, but will now be working in the US.

Ok. Sorry, I totally assumed you were talking about your admission.

That letter is a very important document, so, you will most likely need to correct the typo.

I have tried mailing the schools, but they are saying they can’t confirm that for me due to the volume of application they are receiving.

1. What is the biometric specification?
2. What are the details of the courier envelope? Should it be addressed (to whom)? And about how much should it cost @DHL/FedEx?

I think on the safer side, you just start afresh by sending your Bsc transcript to the institution in Germany applying for an MSC program without letting them known you first had an MSC before or is there anyway the interview official will know?
