Fraudulent UBER/TAXIFY Drivers And Partners. by GAZZUZZ(m): 6:21pm On Dec 28, 2017
If you got a driver or partner here on nairaland and you were cheated by him or her, please post Drivers license number of driver so any one who wants to do business with same driver on Nairaland will have to clear his or her name before switching to another partner.

For drivers that were cheated by partner, post vin of vehicle so any driver that want to do business will be weary of such a partner.

Please no names, no addresses, no phone numbers. Just drop your info for others to see.

Note DL numbers cannot be changed, vins cannot be changed.

If you have more suggestions please add as we go on.

How are we supposed to get their DL numbers?

Oops. I'm asking as a rider. Fraudulent and rude drivers are a plague.

I suggest typing the details instead of uploading images. That way, a Google search of DL number or VIN will lead to this thread.

This will be a great thread, to curb drivers fraud.

Unfortunately, plenty of drivers here have multiple drivers license.

Picture of the driver will make a great deal.

they must be fake drivers licence.

To verify licence go to https://www.nigeriadriverslicence.org/dlApplication/reissue

I am sure partners will do their due diligence before giving out their vehicles.

as you did write earlier, DL number cannot be changed, but if you post it here, and somebody copies it and uses it to create another DL which he then use for a criminal act, who have you helped? if you go to city hall in lagos island, there are guys who can get you a fake DL in two hours. all they need is DL number, your passport and signature.

But what do i know, you are following your instinct. help those guys with extra DL numbers to do what they do best.

Also consider if those guys are arrested and police find out you 'gave' them the DL numbers to use. this is Nigeria and you know how Nigeria Police reason.

I still don't get your point sir. Anyone who tries cloning a DL will the need the date of birth, issuance date, Issue number, class and expiration date on the original license. These are not revealed here.

This is a very useful thread.

Im calling the first shot.

Incase he hides under another monicker, trying to find another partner to swindle, I have attached his face on nairaland.

Mode of operation: Hide under different monickers, sweet talk u, then messed up ur car, and wont pay ur weekly money, while with ur car, search for another
partner to swindle, Then finally find a new driver to use as a bait to drop off ur car and ran away.

He has multiple account on uber, he will make money with different account and tells different u different thing

Partners be warned!
Different monickers and phone numbers are linked to this driver.

My shot! I met with one partner in Opebi that time, I don't know the vehicle VIN but I have pictures, car had massive faults with cooling system, it was a v6 Honda 2000 baby boy, she started talks with 40 per week but later reduced it to 35 with the following conditions:
1) Pick her and drop her at meetings on the Island.
2) Bring car in on Sunday and pick it up Monday.
Thats all I can remember cos I tore up the agreement as soon as I got them.
This woman wasted several weeks of my time and several thousands of my lean savings for nothing. My advice goes: Pls avoid this partner if you don't want to spend your earnings (That's if you make anything) fixing cars.
Oga Gazzuz, I hope to meet you soon, I am seriously searching for a nice car while I manage what I have. I and my partner suppose even visit your workshop but he said you've closed for last year till next Monday. Looking for a nice hire purchase car quietly!
